DCL does not.

Not on a TA, but on a Med cruise, people were waitlisted for late dining. With long port days it was far more popular than main dining. If you look into booking the EBTA this year, the only option is late dining though, so I think the TAs follow the general pattern of main dining filling up first.

The problem is: if you want a specific cruise, there is no guarantee that any discounts will be offered, so paying more is the price for being able to pick your specific cruise and your stateroom. If you are flexible - to the point that you would be ok not to cruise - then it makes sense to wait...

Also, for ironing I would use the luxury of sending out the item to be pressed by the professional onboard laundry people. You can indicate if items are to be dry cleaned or just pressed. Pressing is half the price of dry cleaning and very affordable.

I would say the inside of the ship was weather appropriate. Warm enough to make you feel comfortable about being out in the cold, but not so hot that you wanted to change clothes as soon as you got inside.
