My family (DW and DD) and I have three consecutive DVC reservations at CCV this coming June. Our first check in stay date will be June 24-28 follows by 28-30 and ends wth June 30-July 2. We have yet to link all these reservations and will thinking of getting a DxDDP for our 28-30 stay. Is it possible? Any thought?

Sure. You can get it for any or all of your stays. Your credits will be available from when you (re)check in on the 28th until 11:59 PM on the 30th.
you will have "only" six meal credits per person, along with four snacks and one mug each. Plan credits ar per night.

Great. We can now spread the 6 meal credits over three days and won’t feel guilty of not able to maximize them. Most of the time, we prefer to prepare our breakfast in the villa. By the way, once I booked our two day DxDP, we are thinking of linking these three reservations so that we don’t have to move our room in CCV. Is it still possible? Appreciate for any comments.

My only thought would be to keep an eye on what's happening with fast passes and split stays. Depending on how that ends up shaking out, it may not be worth it to keep them separate, you may want to combine them into one reservation. Just keep an eye on it.

Just to clarify, online check-in will make your DDP available at 4am on the first day. Not sure how it works with DVC, but when you check in for your first part, they might be able to at least check you in for the second part as well. Otherwise a early morning walk down to the check-in desk should get you covered.

I think that will be a great use of DDP credits to just get it in the middle portion. You will have to go a couple days without refillable mugs, but I'm sure you'll manage.

I intend to link up all my three reservations after getting my two day DxDP before my 60 day fast passes window open.

Linking so they keep you in the same room isn't the same as having them combined all as a single reservation. If combined into one reservation, you cannot do the DxDP as you want. So depending how the booking of fp works out in split stays (i.e., not one reservation), you may need to make a choice of what's more important.

There has been talk of dvc reservations not being affected by the fp booking changes for split stays, but I don't think it's been figured out yet. Just want to make sure you're aware of the possibility. And yes I am a DVC member.

What is linking so they keep you in the same room? I have the same situation as OP and asked this question on the DVC board and was told I may have to change rooms each time.

I don't think it's technically a thing, but it's more like asking dvc to request that you keep the same room. We've done this a few times and never had to move. Technically, they could make you move since it's separate reservations, but I think it's just a cover your butt kinda thing. Sure they could make you move, but most likely, you won't have to. We've always made the request to member services in advance, and then again at check in.

OP, i posted this same question on the DVC forum and was advised we would have to check out of our room at each split. Apparently, DVC had a policy for this since so many members purposefully booked tnis way to take advantage of dining plans when they wanted them. I'm not sure if it is always enforced but just a heads up that you may have to check out twice.

Thanks, that was my plan but MS, must be automatic, went in over night and combined all of my reservations into one.

This happened to me for a DVC Poly stay in May. I called and had them re-split the reservation and rebook my DxDP for 3 of the nights out of 8. I'll definately ask at the front desk at check in to see if I can keep the same room.

I did this in Sept. 2018 with no problem but at that time they linked (not combined) the reservation through member services. This time member services said it'd be safer to just ask at the front desk so as not to risk losing the DxDP. Apparently if you're in the same resort booked in the same catagory they will automatically combine the reservation into one reservation unless you ask them not to.

three credits will from DXDP will be available plus the DVC credits but I need to use the 3 DXDP credits by midnight or they will expire. Sorry for the extra question

Thanks Jack
