Airmiles Shop the Block 2018 - BONUS MILES POSTING NOW

I'm so glad that Metro has 2 coupons to use because the one connected to the whole catering thing just seems to be causing way too many problems, I'll happily wait till the end and use some cash miles instead!!!
 
So my son used the Shell spend 10$ get 5 airmiles STB coupon but it didn’t come up on receipt. He redeemed cash mikes for 20 am and it showed. There is a promo #939 on the receipt and at the bottom it says 20 bonus for Cash instore redemption * missing content for offer 18N11061* 1 mile in store purchase
Any ideas if he got the STB offer?

Hi Pigletto
Go into Shell and buy a 2 50.00 Amazon cards--do 2 seperate transactions.
This will get you an extra 40 airmiles in total.
https://www.shell.ca/en_ca/motorists/loyalty-and-payment/air-miles/every-day-air-miles.html
That will cover two cards at the spend 10.00 in store.
Use the 100.00 Amazon card to make a purchase on Airmilesshop.ca for 1 more sponsor done.

I checked both of my receipts and they say Promo 939
Both say
* missing content for offer 18N11061*
I used cut out coupons from the Booklet and made sure she scanned the coupons so I am going to say maybe he got the STB offer.
However mine does say total airmiles received which lined up with the 5 bonus airmiles for STB.
Does your receipt say how many total airmiles he received?

I would do a quick online chat with airmiles if you are concerned.

Oh my I just checked and it says 26 airmiles received. Yippee! And thanks for your help.

Just wanted to add you should get 30 air miles on each $50 gift card for a total of 60. Yesterday I went back and purchased another 2 $50 SportChek cards. Both gave me the 20 air miles for the Shell promo + 5 miles for using the STB coupon + 5 miles for Shell's 1 mile for every $10 in-store purchase.

My Shell Cashier wanted a STB coupon for each gift card.

I will be using this STB coupon. I've never used cash miles before. As long as my cash miles are unlocked, it does not matter that my rewards are set to Dream correct? (I want to collect dream rewards).

Yes. This is what I am doing as well with my account set to Dream 100%.
 
I got gas on Saturday at Shell, paid at the pump (supposed to have opted in), got my 1 AM, no bonus... so I'll be paying inside with the coupon next time (and a little sad I didn't get my 5 bonus airmiles). I did only have to pay 96.9 cents per litre which was kind of awesome. I only got 26 L though because I need two more times this month for the bonus. I always put in a bit more than the 25 for some reason.
 
Is the gift card purchase for extra AM still on at Shell?

Here's my situation. DH just sent me and email link for a helmet DS2 wants for Christmas. It's on Amazon.ca. I was just about to click order when I stopped and thought "I think I can turn this into lots of AM and possibly 2 StB coupons used. If I go to Shell and buy two $50GC (two separate accounts) is should get the StB and the extra 20AM correct? I then take these GC and apply them to the purchase (I will still owe $7, will put that on my M/C). I won't be able to qualify for the online shop because it ships direct from vendor (unless I can find something else from the vendor for $10 or so that will ship at the same time).

Opinions please.

Let's see if I can answer your questions.
Yes the sale is still on at Shell you should get extra miles as mentioned above use a separate transaction for each $50 card separate coupon as well and if need be a separate Air Miles card as well.

Wait until Friday when there will be a much bigger return due to the Black Friday multiplier in the online portal, it's rumored to be 15 times.

I'm not clear on why you're thinking you won't get the airmiles because the helmet is going to ship from the manufacturer because that has nothing to do with the promo, you're ordering it from Amazon it doesn't have to come from them. Maybe I'm not understanding that part of your question but in my opinion you will get the airmiles regardless of how you get the product since you ordered it through Amazon, airmiles doesn't care where it comes from.
 
I was actually thinking if I got over $100 before shipping it might count as another StB coupon use. Good to know, I will hold off until Friday to make the purchase. Will go into my amazon account and delete the item so going through AM shops works properly.

I fell on the snow this morning and hit the back of my head. Very minor headache and a sore butt. I think I'll take it easy today so I'll go get those GC tomorrow.

Okay that makes sense, you need the entire order from Amazon to be over $100 for the online coupon to work correct. In the case of Amazon however, it doesn't have to all come from the same manufacturer it just has to be a total of 100 through the Amazon store. You'll want to add all of the gift cards onto your balance because you can't use multiple gift cards in a purchase. You are able to use two forms of payment but you might want to just add the extra money from your MasterCard on to the gift card to begin with so that it's easier. I'm not quite awake so I'm not sure if I'm making sense or not about this.

I think you need to sit down somewhere with a cup of something warm and watch some trashy sappy Hallmark type Christmas movies to get you in the mood and the give your head a chance to rest. I hope the headache goes away soon and that the bruise butt doesn't take too long to heal that's something I'm famous for as well. At least you have the snow and ice to blame on it I've been known to do it when it's perfectly dry.
