1am check in??

I asked a similar question when we were considering a flight that would arrive at 12:30 AM. Another issue that was raised that I didn't see mentioned as I scrolled quickly is that the DME may not have you in the system if you arrive at 1-2 AM because the computers apparently roll over at 6 AM. I can't speak to the accuracy to this issue, but a concern that was raised to me.

If, for example, you are arriving at 1AM on Friday and your reservation starts on Friday, you don't have a reservation for an arrival that early. You would need to book Thursday night to be able to check in at 1AM on Friday.

From personal experience Magical Express would not be an issue in this situation. If your resort reservation starts on say August 1st once it becomes August 1st, at 12:01AM, you're good to go for Magical Express. As everyone else stated, it isn't August 1st as far as the resort is concerned until 6AM.
