Sept 2018 mother and daughter trip!!

Hello I am excited to post my first pre trip report..

I have been a member on the boards for awhile and loved reading others trip reports! I had my first Disney World Vacation last year and I was so excited to finally see Disney!!

So let’s get to who will be going on this trip!!

First I will officially introduce myself!! My name is Terrie and I am 42 and a mother to 4 great kids (ages 23,21,18,16) and love everything Disney!! I have named all my fur babies Disney names (Jumbo, Daisy, Stella, Simba)!!! I could sit and talk Disney all the time!! I love planning our trips!!

Next up is my daughter and partner in crime for this trip! She loves Disney and is super excited to be going back!! She got to celebrate her 16th birthday in Disney last year and this year she will be celebrating her 17th birthday back at Disney!! How lucky is she!!!

We tried to get her 18yr old brother to go again with us but he said nope BC vacations should be a relaxing time and Disney is not relaxing to him lol he did have a great time last year though!! Hence why this will be our 1st Mother and Daughter trip!!

Pop Century Resort
(We was able to snag free dining and upgraded it to regular dining plan)

My daughter is excited to go back and ride all the rides me not so much (I scare easily lol) she said I have to redeem some ride pics lol

Ok so I have already made all our ADR and all our Fastpasses!!! I was lucky enough to get everything we wanted!! Some restaurants we went to last year some our new ones and we are super excited to try them all out!!

So now onto the ADR’S and FP’S

Sept 3rd
Leave Louisiana and drive halfway stopping in MS to drop two of our pets at my sons place.. ( I drove all the way last year in one day and don’t want to even try it again!!)

Sept 4th
Check in and enjoy pool time
ADR @ Cape May Cafe for 505
Then head to Epcot for the evening
FP for Test Track 805/9 ( we didn’t get to ride this last trip)

Sept 5th

How many people have an obsession for ears!!! I keep buying and buying more ears!!! I think I have enough already for this trip!!!

On my first trip trip last year I only bought two pair!!!

Then this year I have begun a true obsession for buying them!! Lol my daughter says I have tooo many but I don’t think you can ever have tooo many lol...

Here are some of the ears I have bought so far for this trip!!

And then my favorite ears of all our my Ariel reversible ones!!!

And well I have two more paired ordered!! Yes I know I need to stop ordering them lol!! But for now I am working on our matching shirts!!

Hey how is everyone’s day been going? This month is going so slow all BC I want the month to hurry so I can get to Disney!!!
Was so happy checking the mail and getting my last two pair of ears in!! My daughter lov s both pair but she called dibs on the toy story ones!!

There is nothing better than Disney mail!!!
Also makes the trip seem a bit more real lol this is what my daughter says!!! Now I wish September would hurry up and get here!!! Still need to get things together and start packing!! How far in advance do you start packing?

We're 2 1/2 weeks out, and I'm struggling to keep from packing, haha. My husband travels frequently for work, and he'll be going out of town this week and next week, so I can't have the suitcase just yet. But it's a struggle!

I am addicted to ears... I bought most from main st and vine and also the Ariel ones I bought from briar & Co. both are on Facebook.. there was one more lady I bought from and I will have to figure out her page lol...

Last year I was already packed for our trip but this year I am way behind.. I am still waiting for our shirts BC I had shirts done for the whole trip lol once I get them I will be in packing mode lol

My daughter and I made our own autograph books this year!! It was so much fun!! Mine is the blue one and hers is the red one.. I am thinking of maybe getting some ribbon to tie to it to hold the pen.. My daughter decided to make another one (which is the black one) to give to someone who might want one to spread some magic while we are down there!!

Then thanks to the Creative DISigns board especially @otterpop designs we made these awesome passport books!! We bought some last year but didn’t really get them done so instead of bringing those back we decided it would be more fun to use these!!

Does anyone make things for your trips??? Last year we didn’t do anything but our shirts which were okay but didn’t turn out the best. I used iron on paper and they started to peel.. this year a friend is helping me and we are doing them with vinyl!! I think all that is ever on my mind is Disney!! I am so ready to be there already!! Also this year I want to decorate are window!! Has anyone else done this!!?? Trying to come up with ideas!!!
