Strategy to get popular ADR 1st part of week stay, 180+10????

Was wondering how difficult it is to get ADR's at popular TS's for the first part of our week stay. My concern is that our first few days would be within others +10 ADR booking window. Those people would be able to book those restaurants 7-10 days before I can. Making those spots already gone by the time our 180 window opens up. Plan on booking easier to get ADR's first part of week and more popular TS's for later in the week?
 
Yes it is harder to get the tougher ADRs like BOG, Ohana and CRT. You might want to setup a backup plan for days later in the week. If that’s not an option just keep checking and you one of the reservation finders to setup alerts when a ADR comes available for you times
 
Yes I’d plan on the harder to get ADR at the back half of your trip just to be safe. That will give you the best chance of getting what you want. Depending on when you are going and party size you will probably find what you are looking for with the reservation finder and a lot of patience.
 


Well just wanted to give an update on how it went. We were able to get 10 out of 11 ADRs with both of us working the phone online and computer. The only one we didn’t get was Trattoria Al Forno. I will use the reservation finder and keep checking.

These days I will also add "B & C" and Sci-Fi ( especially dinner) to that list as well

At your 180 you should be able to get both - if not, don't give up hope - I scored a 540pm for Beaches just the other day for our July trip
 
Our list of restaurants we are hoping to get are Ohana, Kona, Wave, San Angel, Coral Reef, Chefs de France, Yak & Yeti and lunch at BOG. Will add one of the Italian restaurants in Epcot, Studios, Boardwalk or Downtown Disney. I'm thinking that Ohana and BOG will be the toughest.

Keep watching for al Forno. I bet that adrs are held back while candlelight processional dining packages are being worked out.
