What did you do about the SSN that they supposedly want?

You have until the closing date (in your original contract) to submit documents.

You would only need a SSN or ITIN if you purchased from a non-US citizen. If you did this MUST be disclosed to you at time of purchase.

And if so, please make sure you have the title company provide you proof that they paid FIRPTA to the IRS otherwise the IRS will be billing you for it (15% of purchase price).

I didn’t get asked for SSN but also don’t have closing docs yet so didn’t even realize that they had to be printed lol.

First time DVC buyers that have been thinking about buying DVC for some time. We got a major case of add-on-itis after we started buying and could not pass up the POLY. Pulled off a VERO at 30 and we want to use for the 3 Bedroom Beach Cottages so 11 months matter. Plan on Disneyland/Aulani joint trip every other year. Was able to complete our Disney vacation house faster than we thought.

First time DVC buyers that have been thinking about buying DVC for some time. We got a major case of add-on-itis after we started buying and could not pass up the POLY. Pulled off a VERO at 30 and we want to use for the 3 Bedroom Beach Cottages so 11 months matter. Plan on Disneyland/Aulani joint trip every other year. Was able to complete our Disney vacation house faster than we thought.
Your broker should be buying your family dinner sooner rather than later 😉 And probably should bring along some SWAG for all! That’s a nice commission!

We kept scouring the website which which combines all the DVC listings from like 9 broker which has about 2070 listings active on it which is a great tool. I am not sure if I am allowed to mention the name but it would be worth buying the owner of that site a steak dinner as a thank you. We actually only had I think 1 repeat broker. They made a nice set of commissions overall. We are pleased with our buys overall and it seems as if the prices have been coming back up and we bought just in time.

Plan on using points with home resort advantage. Not against split stays. Grand Cal/Aulani trips booked at 11 month priority every other year. Vero/Walt Disney World Trips Spring Break or summer. 3-4 total trips per year counting long holiday weekend trips will make the different use years not be an issue. Can also bank points and not have to do a trip at each Walt Disney World Resort each year. Takes 219 Vero points for 3 weekday nights Beach Cottage at VERO so use up 2 of the banked points per year or just do 2 days at Spring Break. Family of 5 6/4/2 year olds so mostly 1 Bedrooms occasional Studio use unless others go with.

How are you going to handle the banking problem if for some reason have to cancel or change reservations? just looking at your proposed Grand Cal/Aulani are you looking to go only either June,July or Dec Jan as those 2 periods are only time frame not to lose banking ability if have to cancel in the 4-1 month time before a reservation.
 
Dang...and I'm over here just stressed how about how to plan/book/space out trips to WDW/Disneyland every year, give or take. Just 2 resorts and 1 use year. My brain can't even comprehend the above. 🤣

Our timeframes for the Disneyland Grand Cal/Aulani trips actually only work for June/July and December for us anyways. Preference for trip is in the Summer for us as to go to California and Hawaii in the summer heat. We have experience in Mid Summer heat in Florida as my parents were Florida residents for about 4 years in Florida Punta Gorda and it can get quite hot down there mid summer. Having staggered use year options allows us to plan various trips year round including the fall for Not so Scary Halloween for Columbus Day or Labor Day weekends and still be able to preserve the 4 month banking deadline on planned trips if have to cancel for some reason. June was the only use year that would work for us for a Disneyland Resort other than the month of December and to find a Grand Cal priced right with the bonus points was hard to do and lucked into it. We are trying to be able to stagger our trips out 2-4 months apart and not risk banking deadlines. We are coming from the Midwest where we can Drive to Florida on longer trips or fly to either.

All good "deals" from a PPP, so it sounds like it worked well for you. I have the best broker in the business, hands down! He'll talk strategy with me even when I'm considering purchasing from a different company.
