The Official VILLAS at DISNEYLAND HOTEL (Discovery Tower) Owners and Fans Info Thread

Speaking of QS...I know I could just look it up but since I'm already here in this thread...

Is there a QS place at VDH? Or at the Disneyland Hotel at all? Over at VGC, we plan to eat breakfast at Craftsman and I wondered if there's an equivalent at the DH?

For those of you who have had multi-night stays recently, does mousekeeping provide new water bottles each day? Or is it still first night / on arrival only?

Inspire Keys for all of us since we’re currently going around 3-4 weeks a year over multiple trips. Now that all the kids are over 3 everything adds up quickly.. We own at VGC and VDH. I look at our plans for the next year and evaluate whether it’s worth renewing for another year. So far it’s still been worth it. I especially like how you can get dining discounts at a lot of mobile order and QS places, unlike at WDW.
I wish they would do a DVC-specific AP add-on. We have our WDW APs, but we’d pay more if it allowed dual park access. Heck, it’s one of the major mental hurdles in us buying VDH. I know there are concerns about SoCal residents abusing park admission, but I feel like a DVC member is the type of spender they’d want in the parks and on property. Maybe I’m wrong.

That's why I still think a true DVC AP needs to be a thing. Attach it to your use year (for Disney's benefit, not ours, we need to concede something to them) and make it only valid from check-in to check-out day of DVC bookings, but no blackout dates and valid for all 6 US parks. It's great marketing for DVC add-ons (maybe even only valid with blue card eligible points, that would be a new one) since the more points you have the more value you get out of the AP.

If only DVC would have that bargaining power within the company!

Scattered reports of lack of hot water or pressure in the VDH tower over the past few weeks -- anyone with any reported issues of this? Curious to see if systemic issue or just plain bad luck

Please make this happen! I would love to see something like this. I hope you've sent your great idea to the powers that be :)

In November I had hot water and great pressure from the tub faucet… until I tried to use the actual shower head. All the water pressure disappeared and it was hardly a sprinkle. Terrible. Was in room 1127. Posters here told me it was because California was in a drought but that didn’t make sense to me as the faucet was full speed; it was when switching to the shower head that was lacking.

Wondering what a pace of 18% sales means for VDH eventually selling out. At this pace it would take about 6 more years to sell out. I wouldn't think this first year's pace would remain. Meaning, first year being the most active year. Just a guess, but I'm thinking it takes 9-11 years to sell out.

That would be a decade of DVD products on the West Coast coupled with the Aulani option (not sure when Aulani would sell out). And with Disneyland Forward, I'm sure there's possibility of another DVC property to come online in the next decade.
