My physical therapy clinic has closed as a result of our company's commitment to patient and staff safety and to help slow down the spread of the virus. Though not yet mandated to shut-down by the province (Ontario), the difficult decision was made to lay off staff and close our doors on Monday. And subsequently deal with the significant financial repercussions that follow.
We all realize the tremendous impact this has on businesses, from independent contractors, to mom/pop shops, to small chains, all the way up to airlines and theme parks.
However, there must be some companies and businesses that are booming as a result, and when the dust has settled, will have recorded record profits and growth.
