But I was able to get BG 16. If the ride hadn’t gone down I would have been able to do the 2 biggest rides in the first hour. As it stands though I’m sitting in the queue eating free popcorn again, which still seems to happen 50% of the time I try to ride. Maybe I could quit my job and just survive on theme park popcorn.
I keep seeing references to popcorn and water while waiting. When we were there a couple of weeks ago it broke down while we were on it and there were a hundred or so people waiting for it to start up again. No popcorn. No water. We could have used some since it was 80 degrees with no shade at 1:00. My son nearly gave up waiting, and we were only doing it for him in the first place!

Well we had an eventful morning. Was driving into the Hollywood Studios parking lot at 6:05 when my toddler gagged on the breakfast we were letting them eat in the car and it all cake back up. Ugh and eww. Dropped off my son and husband, drove back to AKL, put the carseat cover in the wash, bathed the baby, changed everyone, and by 7:30 was back on a bus to HS with a kid mad I wouldn’t feed her another breakfast.

Tapped into the the park at 7:56, walked over to by the Indiana Jones theater and got BG 33. Verizon data, I phone 8.

the boys are already on the falcon ahead of a current 110 minute wait. We got a rider swap and I’ll get to ride later. Already boarding group 14!

hoping today keeps trending up lol.
Thank the Maker for car seat covers! :)

Left Pop a couple mins after 7:00. Got in line for Jedi training sign-ups. Finished there at 7:55. Stayed in the area and got group 44 today. After weeks of practicing my pixel 2 gave me an error of no one in my party being in the park. My husband manage to get it in his pixel 3a with no issues or warnings.

Arriving at pop later today. Did you drive or take a bus?

I’ve read a lot of this thread, and haven’t seen this answered.

Say you get on early in the day, the ride breaks down, and you get a FP to return. You go do other things, maybe park hop, maybe go back to the hotel to give your kid a nap. You plan to return to DHS later to ride RotR.

But then Disney shuts down the ride at 6, despite the park being open until 9. What happens? Do you get a new FP? Do you get a one-day ticket as if your BG were called but didn’t get to ride? Are you just out of luck?

God, it's gonna be such a mess Thursday.
Blocked out from getting in til lord knows when, and HS is my favorite park. So, I bought a ticket on a day off and I hope I can manage it alone.
What does this mean? “Blocked our from getting in til lord knows when???”

The best way to resolve this is talking to Guest Experience Team under the blue umbrellas. It's usually best to do it night it happens, but if it happened to you yesterday, always worth a shot to check in with them today, if you haven't already.

Fortunately it didn’t happen to me, but after reading the posts from yesterday, it was a what-if that I’d never considered.

I’m going with my 4-year-old, and really want to ride it. But I also have to be realistic about her level of patience. If the ride breaks down and we have to wait a while before getting evacuated, she’s probably not going to be super cooperative about going back as soon as the ride opens up again. I also think daily pool/nap time is going to be necessary to keep her from getting overtired and cranky in the parks, so it might not be practical to stay and wait it out.

What time is the press event this evening? And are they keeping ROTR open later for the press tonight? Will that affect maintenance and opening time for the ride tomorrow

I don't think anyone has posted a picture of the entrance after thr wall went down (I'd anyone has a solution for the sideway photo postlmk)
