I love credit cards so much!

We stayed at the Sheraton Park Anaheim last week, before the merger but after the SPG Biz lost its lounge access. We still got lounge access and free breakfast for all 3 in my family, and even got a Platinum sleeve for our keycards:

Checked my guest folio upon checkout, and it said SPG Gold.

I'm not sure. I'm wondering if they are seeing my old Marriott gold.
my SPG points are still MIA. :-/

You do have to go through security twice to access the lounge. And our experience with mco security has been completely terrible. Not worth it to us for some free food. But there are six of us with no tsa precheck.

Definitely would not try without precheck...the regular lines are terrible...and since we visit my son about 4 times a year getting the precheck was worth it...just wish I had found this group before I paid for it since I’d have opened the CSR first

Doctor of credit just posted about Blue Business+ 20k UR offer. Requires a $5k spend.

https://www.doctorofcredit.com/amer...ss-plus-20000-point-offer-publicly-available/

This is better than the support link offer of 10k URs for $3k spend.

Few comments reporting back that it looks targeted like before, and indeed when I hit the Apply Now button I have to login. Part of me hopes he just forgot to update with the public link, other part of me hopes it's still targeted because we're not ready for 5k spend right now. :) (and i'm not willing to login to see until we're ready)

UGH same! I also went for Pre-Check and not Global Entry since it was more convenient at the time. I think I am going to use the CSR for Global Entry just because I can! Who doesn't want TWO KTN #s?!?

Speaking of love for the Plat, I’ve been meaning to post some pictures of the food and drink offerings at the SFO Centurion Lounge when we traveled through last week.

Like @1st*toright, we visited on the way out and when we returned. Enjoyed dinner there both times (on our return trip, we also had no groceries to prepare dinner at home), and the food was mostly the same (I’ve had that fennel crusted chicken several times now, each time very good). However, we’d value our dinners in the lounge a bit more than $10 per person, considering the exorbitant prices at airport restaurants and the high quality of food at the lounge.

Many Bothans died to bring you this information. No, just a little bit of my pride. I felt so out of place snapping these pictures like I had never been in a lounge before and may never again.

I really don’t think I could live without my Plat. I’m probably going to keep 2 plats one for me one for SO (love the Delta Sky Club Lounge access guests cost a fee), airline credit, WiFi and the concierge. We will probably keep only one CSR.

Yeah - the first time I accessed it it didn’t require a login. Then...5 min later DEAD! Wow lol!

So... silly me... I just realized when I attempted that Amex offer that I DO have an Amex account for my corporate card. My non-chip version did not require an account, but the new one does!

Where do I see the "targeted" offers?

ETA: Will this also mean Amex may NOT do a hard pull on me since I already "have" a card?! :goodvibes

Didn’t think,of that lol..but no way is my husband traveling to JFK to get it until we have an international trip planned

You missed out on the Mercedes-Benz Plat, but there’s still the regular personal Platinum, Charles Schwab Platinum, and apparently there’s now a low bar to entry on the Morgan Stanley Platinum, to churn through welcome bonuses. Then there’s the Ameriprise Platinum too, but no bonus.

PNC bonus peeps...My dd's 2k deposit posted like this:
ACH CREDIT XXXXXXXXX JPMORGAN CHASE EXT TRNSFR

Will that trigger the bonus? Am I right in thinking this bonus doesn't post for about a month after the requirements are met?

I was a few minutes too late! I should probably make sure my $8,000 MSR is covered first. Should be any day now...
More increases to airline fees going on next week, this time JetBlue increasing Bag and Change fees starting 8/31/18:

WHY JetBlue?! Do you really want me to get that Barclay card?

Hmm, seeing the increase and that Amex has a targeted JetBlue offer has me considering a platinum again if there is a 100,000 offer. I could use that $200 credit on the overpriced baggage fees. :scratchin Something to definitely consider.

That was my thought. It was not worth it to my airport when I had a few Pre-Check places that were closer and more convenient. It all depends on how much I want out of this $450 AF!

They'd be at the bottom of the account overview page. I'm not sure if corporate cards are eligible, even if you opted into the MR program. (we could opt in on ours but we had to pay the $75 fee... and corporate was quick to put out that they would NOT be reimbursing the fee, no matter how many Senior VP's you bribed to override it, so don't even try it ) But if you're in the MR program it's possible, can't hurt to look through the site.

My Starwood goes to marriott too. So does DH's. I can't pull up Starwood at all, which is where I had 30k spg points parked. And they aren't showing up in my marriott.
I can log in if I use Chrome incognito. It gave me a new number and my points and res are there However the new number won’t work unless incognito. If I try on regular site, doesn’t work.

Anyone know when the typical bonus points (dollars) post for the Disney card referral? If the person applied today, any idea on when I can expect to see it? I remember seeing something about a Tuesday afternoon but I don't remember the details.

The 100k MR/$10k Biz Platinum offer might still be available by calling into an Amex agent’s direct line and asking for it.
