looks like they have made some changes to the RAT and website

Thankfully I'm not trying to book anything right now because I too am just getting the blank white page. I've tried my cell and my laptop and neither are working.
 
Has any one been able to go from getting a blank screen to not getting a blank screen? What did you do? did it just happen?
 
My home resort is AK-Jambo usually at 11 month mark I am able to book both at Jambo House and Kidani Village. But this new system is treating Kidani as a non-home resort now :( I hope its just a glitch.

This better be a glitch!

Mine is still not working.

However, try using Microsoft Edge. Someone here couldn't get it to work on any other browser and had success there. I don't have Windows 10, so I am out of luck. Hoping someone has success! :goodvibes

Please call technical, if you have time (technical is a prompt after Member Services). Why? As of early this afternoon two technical department employees insinuated that I was the only member with this issue. That hardly lights a fire under them.

My contract is AKV-Kidani and although I didn't complete the booking just now, it was going to allow one in April at Jambo so I think it must have just been a glitch.
 
I knew when I didn't see Woody and Bullet that changes have been made. I like the fact that you can view all the WDW separately but I'm still on the fence about how the results page now looks.
 
OMG I’m trying to sort out my first attempt... there will be cleaning up to do.

So this morning under the influence of migraine meds, while in the dentist chair with a cracked tooth (east coast, we get a time zone jump on many of you), I attempted to pick up 7 days of a total 12 night stay. I now have separately:

-Fri booked
-Sat/Sun wait listed
-next 7 nights booked

And will need to add another 2 nights. Hoping my head is clear and systems working in the morning. I don’t have the right names on these but I’ll focus on catching days first. In the morning should I be looking to add a day (modify) or will it want me to cancel and rebooking for the 8 days? I’m New at this...

Looks like there are no calendars on it, I had to keep putting in different dates to check things. I hope they fix that. Yesterday was fine And today all different

It looks like they have combined the Online Availability Tool with Book Online. You can still put in the dates, even if it isn't within your booking windows and find current availability, it just won't let you book if you aren't allowed to. In other words, it went back to how it was before the terrible redesign mess.

And the calendars are there, they are just hidden by default, click the down arrow and you will find them.

Now the problem with trying to modify an existing reservation is it wants to cancel the entire existing reservation rather than just adding a day, member services is aware of the problem and it is apparently being worked on.
 
For AKL owners with Kidani home resort: It will not let you modify a reservation at Jambo more than 7 months from now, I had to call and there is a glitch where it sees that as a 7 month reservation window because we technically own at Kidani. They are working on it.
I had the first night of our Jambo reservation booked separately and a wait list for club level, which came through today. I checked the calendars and the following night was also available in CL so I tried to drop the first night from our second reservation so I could grab the CL night and went all the way through the process only to get the message that I could not book this reservation until October 20, 2018. I was able to call and get the change made, thankfully.

You might be among the very few that can add or modify at both Kidani and Jambo now, hope you are planning a trip and can take advantage of the lack of competition for online booking:tongue:

I feel special lol. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my trip for December is already booked and I don't think I'll be booking anything until the fall.

I do as well, a resale at Jambo and direct at Kidani... I've got all my reservations set for a while though, so we'll see what everyone else reports!

So does that mean (for now) the system considers Jambo a non-home resort for Kidani owners? That is not good for any Kidani owner that may be trying to book an 11 month reservation at Jambo right now!
 
Yes, for now the system considers Jambo a non-home resort for Kidani owners. They are aware of the glitch and will plan a fix, but for now Kidani owners who wish to book at Jambo or presumably Jambo owners wanting to book at Kidani will need to call and have MS book it for them. Hopefully the fix will both come quickly and work.
 
Just a heads up on an issue I encountered - the system now allows you to update guest details, so I made a minor change by adjusting my son's age to the correct one just to try it out. I did not change any names. However, realizing this is a new system, I emailed MS afterwards to make sure that by doing this I didn't mess up our room requests or our DME booking. They emailed back that the room requests were intact but that our DME booking was lost since we deleted and re-added all guests (which is apparently how the system treated the minor change I made). I had to call MS to get our DME re-added to the reservation. We had already received our luggage tags and letter from when we booked it before, and they said we can still use those since we're leaving next week. They will be escalating this as an issue since the system should not be treating minor changes that don't involve a name change as a removal of all guests from the reservation before re-adding them. If you do make any changes to your guest details on your reservation online with the updated system and have DME booked, you might want to make sure it hasn't been removed.
