Best lightweight flip flip for parks?

Hi all... have been doing some research on here and am overwhelmed by all the footwear recommendations! I have worn nike flip flops in the past but can't find the style I purchased a few years ago. Does anyone have any light weight flip flops they could recommend that have some cushion? I prefer shoes without a textured or bumpy sole. I have some adorable minnie havainas but they are so heavy and I feel like I'm clomping around!
Thanks in advance for any recommendations :)

Olukai Ohanas...great support. Wouldn't call them super heavy but they aren't as lightweight as havianas. So comfortable though. also pricey but so worth it to me...

I always wear Sketcher Reggae Rasta sandels. I need arch support and am always shocked how great my feet feel at the end of a park day. I've been wearing these every year for the last 7 years to anything needing walking. they come in all sorts of colors and are fantastic!

my podiatrist said to only wear birkenstocks or vionics. bleh.

I've never tried birkenstocks in the parks and wouldn't. I have a pair that I like but would never wear for lots of walking. For me, the olukais or the vionics are great. Vionic Tide flip flops are another pair of expensive but worth it shoe. It's not a lightweight one, definitely more sturdy, but can't touch the arch support in those IMO.

Thanks everyone!!! I picked up two pairs of clarks today, they were bogo at JCPenneys and had a lot of colors to select from :)

I live for Crocs Flip Flops. (I refer to them as Croc Flops.) They're so supportive for me and I live in them outside of work from May-September. (I have a pair of Crocs Wedge sandals to wear with my dresses in the classroom to maintain a comfortable but professional appearance.)

I just find that it is absolutely worth the extra little bit of money for the leather thong part instead of the Crocs material. The Leather has give and feels more natural against the skin than the rubbery material. It also doesn't make you sweat nearly as much.

I learned my lesson last year when I wore a cheap pair of croc-like flip flops to Santa Monica because we were just going to the Beach. Just walking from the parking garage to the Third Street Promenade where my sister wanted to check out a pair of Doc Martens, my feet were blistering. I stopped at the crocs store and bought a pair of Croc Flops. Best $35 I ever spent, and I wore them around Disneyland, too.

I am making sure for my trip this Fall that I have a pair of fresh ones ready to go for WDW.

You'll love the Clarks, they are my go to shoe for the parks, I actually have mine on right now sitting at my desk. I also have a pair of Sketchers that are pretty comfortable.

I love my sketchers flip flops too but there is something about the sole that made me trip several times in Disney! I'm a clutz to begin with but not sure what it was about that particular shoe!

Hope the Clarks work for you! I haven't tried them, but I love my Sanuks. My feets are too big to get the yoga-style, which is what my housemate likes, but the regular flipflops are very comfy.

I wore Birks for an entire trip in 2015, and never again. I don't really get it...I know people who swear by them, but my arches start hurting pretty badly after I've been in them about half a day, plus the pair I had with synthetic straps rubbed the tops of my feet raw (the ones with leather straps did not rub, but my feet still got sore). Now I alternate between my Sanuk flipflops and my Keen Clearwaters (not a flipflop, but gets an honoerable mention...though they do have textured soles).

YES. I definitely don’t understand. They are comfortable enough for a few hours but my daughter wears hers all day. I couldn’t do it. Oh well...to each their own. That’s why it’s nice to have the boards so people can share their opinions and insights. :smooth:

I adore Yellow Box flip flops--they have some with a yoga mat bottom and I've broken in a brand new pair walking at Disney. They are the most comfortable shoes I own!
