Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Weird question...are there microwaves in the CR or BC lounges. Or, a microwave for guest use somewhere at these resorts? I have a neck wrap I bring on vacation to help with neck stiffness that is a chronic problem and it needs to be heated in the microwave.

Hi, for the Wayamai safari and dinner. Is it served family style or does everyone at the table get their own plate of food.? Thanks

Sorry I burried your post in all of mine.

It's served family style - they bring out the food on big plates and you pass it around.

Just wanted to add — my wife has allergies and they were really good at giving her separate different items for the things she couldn’t eat.

at BC now, didn't see a microwave in the lounge. But maybe they could heat it up for you in their kitchen.

Last post.... promise.

Final thoughts....
  • Greeted by a CM with an iPad specifically looking for us and taken straight to the lounge (this has not happened since our first trip to WL way back in 2013).
  • Was offered a beverage while checking in (had never happened at any CL stay before).
  • On the whole, I found the CMs here excellent. Desk CMs were friendly. Lounge CMs were busy but always available if you needed anything. Tables were quick to be cleaned. Seemed like a mix of regular CMs who have been there a long time and maybe some new faces (saw some in training).
  • The lounge seemed to always be well staffed.
  • To go cups and trays were available upon request.
  • I'm not sure about bottled water - I did not see anyone ask for them and we didn't ask either.
I'm sorry for the hyperbole, but we had an excellent time and and excellent overall stay. We purposely didn't do much park time this trip, instead spent a lot of time around the resort. We came back happy and refreshed.

DD is still asking what the flamingos are doing (we'd go see them every morning).

Honestly, I hadn't done much research on AKL at all. I had zero expectations, or more accurately, I had low expectations. I figured the distance to the lounge would get on my nerves.

But alas, great trip, great CL, very happy to have given it a shot.

Always happy to answer any questions! Thanks for letting me hog thread space.
Thank you for such a thorough and picturesque trip report! We are heading to AKL CL in just under a month and are super excited! The food and views look amazing!

Anyone happen to know if Leeanna Flannery does any of the club level stuff at the Grand Floridian? I just received an email from her asking what time I think we will be arriving and I’m trying to figure out why. I have never received one before.
I have never been asked my arrival time except if I was cl. That would be if I made a room request,

Let us know what room you get !

I posted last week that I might need to cancel my family's trip due to my dad's hospitalization. Up until the night before the trip we considered cancelling as there were a lot of ups and downs, but my siblings encouraged us to go since recovery will take some time and we'll all have some unavailable weeks.

Anyway, we're having a wonderful trip - and we checked into our standard CL room at the Boardwalk yesterday and found ourselves upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite! pixiedust:

It's so beautiful! I can't wait to share pictures!

ETA: The only downside is that everyne loves the room so much no one wants to go anywhere! Trying to motivate to head to MK but everyone is too busy lounging around!

Allot of that going around this week! We have family members that just received a free upgrade yesterday from a standard BWI room to a CL room. They are so excited as they have never stayed CL before! So happy for you guys and hope you have a great trip!!

So excited! We're doing a split stay and will be at the BC CL May 16-19 after a few days at CR. This will be my first time staying club level! The only sad part is that I'll be 5 months pregnant and my husband doesn't drink so we can't take advantage of the alcoholic beverages...

Hope you have a great trip! :wizard:

Forgive me, very pic heavy posts coming up.

I'll let the pics do the talking for most of this review. Suffice it to say, I was incredibly impressed with AKL and AKL CL. And not only me, the whole family loved it. It was an all around great week and I really have no complaints whatsoever.

Awesome review, glad you liked AKL! Thanks for the detailed review as well as all of the great pics :goodvibes.

But what you give up in a small room, you get back 10x in views.

I agree :thumbsup2.

Staying at GF Royal Palm Club in July. I have a Deluxe room booked. Looks like only 3 rooms on 3rd floor and 3 on 4th floor. Anyone have any thoughts on which to request. Looking for a quiet room. The ones overlooking the GF are a different shape than the other two.

I can't answer as I've never stayed in a deluxe RPC room, but bumping your post in hopes others will be able to help :flower3:.

What are the offerings like these days at the Poly CL? Anyone have any pictures to share? I know there use to be a menu, but not sure if there is still one since the recent changes. TIA!

Bumping your post as well as others might be able to help :).

@GADisneyDad14 Dude Seriously? My next trip was supposed to be offsite in points hotels one day before and one day after a cruise and you post this review! Now I am contemplating how to swing two nights before the cruise with no park time, just enjoying a full day at AKL. I have to stay off this thread. You all are enablers :rotfl2:

Looks like it's time to put that Disney math to work :rotfl::rotfl:.

Checking in from YC with a few pictures.

Thanks for sharing your pics. Hope you're having a nice time :).

These are a few months old, but may help. I suspect things haven’t changed all that much, in general. Scroll past the posts about the room and you’ll get to the food.

We stayed at the RPC in a Deluxe room in January, on the third floor. Pros and cons as far a quietness is concerned. The rooms "overlook" the lobby, so there is a good amount of noise from the lobby, bar, and band below - it was not quiet in our third floor room (room 4322- which was a nice, large room). The fourth floor might be a bit quieter since it's a floor up from that noise. But then you're on the same floor as the Club Lounge, so that may be noisier. I loved hearing the band, but I'm going to bring a white noise machine next time for sleeping. :) Glad to answer any questions!

We're headed back in November, and it seems like so much has changed (for the better) in the lounge since we stayed there in December of 2016. Thank you so much for capturing every little detail on your trip! It makes me even more excited about heading back "home" than I already was!!

We returned last night from a long weekend at the BWI, in a Garden Suite. We were in 1202 this time (1201 last year), which was still nice and close to the back staircase to the lounge and the quiet pool. It was lovely! There was a really nice variety of food in the lounge during the day, a tasty breakfast, and the only night we were there for hot hors d'oeuvres was really great (steak with fingerling potatoes and a nice sauce, and fish with veggies). Excellent coffee. DH missed the beer fridge at the Poly, but otherwise no complaints! Hoping to return to BWI again next spring.

We were also impressed with the array of Disney bath products in the Garden Suite! More than I've ever seen before, including at RPC. We had turndown service with chocolates every night. Our room was spotless, and the CMs were very accommodating and welcoming. Great service all around. IMG_3013.JPG

Just back from Poly Club! It was so wonderful. Truly wonderful. We had all those bath products as well.

I thought the service was excellent, and I'd say better then our experience at GF SL 2 years ago. I don't know if that is because of general concierge changes or just a difference at resorts. I never received a room text, so when we arrived at 8 pm I went to the front desk at the Poly. At that point, the person helping me left and went and got someone then she escorted us to Hawaii. (normally a manager does it, but he had left for the day). At that point, we got to sit in the lobby and a CM went over everything and gave us our paperwork. At that point, I asked about food for my youngest who has severe food allergies. (dairy, eggs, sesame, peanut and tree nuts). We were told that we would have a notation on our account and he could order anything he wanted from private dining! I got to talk to a chef and then had a standard waffle order every morning at 7:45 am.

Poly has 3 cm desks in the lobby and SL has 1. It was a nice set up.

We received a big box of cookies in our room on our arrival and the kids received shovels, buckets, and a coloring book. Our arrival night we grabbed dinner in Capt Hooks and watched the fireworks in the concierge lounge.

I thought the CMs in the lounge were wonderful. They kept on asking if we needed anything and would fill up water bottles for us which was great.

I really liked walking to the TTC. Surprisingly we tended to do boats to and from the MK more often which makes me think maybe next time we could do the Wilderness lounge.

The saddest part of the whole trip is that it is over. We also don't have another trip planned. I'm in negotiation with my husband. I was pushing for 2 years, he's pushing for 5. We will have to see....

I had issues with MDE so kept on going down to the CMs in the lobby to make changes the night before.

Oh, one other thing I loved is that every night we got a piece of paper with the list of activities for the next day. The GM did leave a message at some point asking if we had any questions.

All and all a great trip.

I need some advice. My husband and I are going to be going to be going to Disney in October 2019. We will spend the first week offsite but are considering spending one or two nights onsite at a deluxe CL. We are willing to splurge a bit as we will be celebrating our 30th anniversary. I would prefer either a Magic Kingdom resort or an Epcot resort.
Which CL is the nicest? Best to celebrate at? If we can manage it I’m going to try and get an ADR at V&A.
