Those using swagbucks ???

I think I asked here a little while ago about buying a Amazon Prime subscription through swagbucks even you previously had a prime subscription, wondering if you'd get the $15 Amazon gift card they offer. Well someone else may have to find out because my husband managed to goof that up.

We got the AmEx offer for 5000 MR points for buying a Amazon Prime subscription. Ours had renewed just a little while ago and we hadn't used it yet so we're eligible to cancel for pro-rated refund and then we could buy it again with the AmEx card for the points. Some folks on one of the deals blogs had said they canceled and then combined it with the iBotta (I think it was?) GC offer, so I thought we'd try it with the SB one. Hubby's the subscriber so I wanted him to check it out and do it a couple weeks ago but he keeps forgetting. Since I had to cancel a free trial today it reminded me about the Prime cancel and I told him that we should do it once and for all LATER tonight.
So I'm trying to hop in the shower before heading out to dinner with some extended family that's in town whom we hardly get to see and he decides he's going to do it now so he doesn't forget (probably so I stop bothering him) rather than wait until we get back from dinner, like I said we should. grr. so I stop what i'm doing to make sure he verifies he can cancel the prime with a refund ok. we get through that and I say again, 'ok cool we'll double check you still have the offer saved later and then buy it again, later' and I hop in the shower.
Like no more than 7 minutes later I get out of the shower and he says, "ok we're all set I renewed with the amex"
Argh, oh well, I guess I don't get my train of thought together after all. I like to make sure I'm not forgetting or missing out on something before I finalize a deal. I at least ask, 'well did you get the confirmation email from amex that you used the offer?'
More grumbles from him, but he goes and checks and reports back "yes I got the email" then there's a pause for a minute ...
"oh wait, I think we screwed up, wasn't I supposed to go through swagbucks first?" :headache: (where's the Skype :banghead: emoji when you need him?)

Of course my first thought was "what's the 'we' sh.. ah.. stuff you speak of?" but I wasn't sure about the SB offer anyway, it was going to be a "why not, can't hurt to try" so I'm just going to forget it ever existed. Next year right before renewal maybe I'll look it up again.

Didn't mean to be so long, apparently I needed to vent a little :p

Did you think the burrito bowls were spicy?? I added the entire seasoning packet because it said the meal was mild so I didn’t even think about it. It was a bit too hot for my liking.
And I did the same as you, I made both meals at once as there are three of us.
Everyone liked it! I thought it was very good and easy.

Yes, extremely spicy

I didn't think it was super spicy, but we like spice at our house. We loved them both :-)

I got an offer in my inbox about IMVU, would spend $9.99 to get 2,000 SB's. Anyone know anything about this one?

AdGate - Winter Trivia Quiz 24 sb

You're welcome! I've been able to take 2 trips to Disneyland (September 2016 and October 2017) that I would not have been able to do without SwagBucks.

I love reading this! Our current trip is paid for but we are paying for all our food with Disney gift cards earned through Swagbucks. I'm already dreaming about my next trip (with a stay at AKL), and how Swagcucks is going to help me pay for it.

Swagcode Extravaganza on Wednesday:
The Turkey Day Swag Code Extravaganza begins on Wednesday, November 15th at 7am PT/10AM ET until 5pm PT/8pm ET.
  • 5 Swag Codes worth a total of 40 SB

They usually post every 2 hours starting at 7am PT/10AM ET. Make sure to enter through the Swagbutton or the Swagbucks app to also score points for your team.

Also, if you haven't seen the banner ad yet, they're doing a special on gift cards at MGCP, buy $250 worth of gift cards in 1 transaction and they'll give you a 500 SB bonus. Fine print for the offer:
**Must spend minimum of $250 in one (1) transaction to receive bonus. Limit one bonus per customer. Excludes eBay and The Home Depot. This offer expires at 11:59pm PST on November 19th. Your SB will credit when your electronic gift card is delivered.

So I don't think I've actually bought a gift card during a team challenge, so I'm curious to know, if you bought a couple of different gift cards worth the $250 would that only give you 60 team points? Since it's all one transaction and would only make one entry in your activity list.

We stayed at AKL last June. So amazing!!! It was like a dream the whole time we were there!

I started sb in April 2016. I have been able to pay for 90% of my trip I took to Disney w my adult children, paid for my flights and tickets to Disney this past June and just paid $600 towards dh and my cruise this coming winter. Now to focus on another Disney Trip!!

Just curious- how many SB do you earn a day? Do you set a goal for the day? Also tax wise does SB send a 1099 or how is it claimed? I want to do this for our family trips but want to make sure I know how to get it done.

I just try and make my first goal everyday and if I go beyond it’s just a bonus. I shop through sb whenever I can and I belong to a page on social media where people post a lot of tips and I follow along here. I do any offers that I will make money on. For example I just did Home Chef and came out ahead $11. And I claim nothing on taxes.
So many people think it last a waste of time. But if you make your goal everyday that’s an average of $1 a day times 30 days is $30 a month. Add anything on top of that and you can easily make $50 or more.
Some people stack their gift cards and if you read through here you will find how that is done. I just cash out to PayPal.
Good luck!! I do this because I love to travel and I wanted a way to add some extra cash to that. And it has definitely done that for me!

PL Seaborne offer is back (at least for me). 71 SB after sign up. On PL's main page.

I'm curious. On the challenge page, team leaders are making 10K+. What do you think they're doing to make so many SB in a day? Keep buying stuff?

I remember a while back a lot of people did the Wen offer. I didn't do it at the time. Was it fairly successful for everyone? I seem to remember many people selling the products on eBay and making a profit. Any problems canceling?

That's their points for the challenge not the amount of SB they earn a day. So they are doing whatever tasks earn the most points, probably short videos. You used to get more/something for being on top of the leaderboard but I think they stopped that. Either way I just go about my normal swagging, I'm not going to alter what I do to earn my team more to earn 50 cents when I could earn more doing it how I normally do. I do sometimes read the comments for tips but that's it.

I did it back when I first started sb. Sold the stuff on eBay and actually made more than what I purchased it for. Was easy to cancel. Very good money maker for me

What does it mean to stack the gift cards?
