MNSSHP 2017 - Strategy in the making.

I'm trying to show pics via the flickr up on my phone, testing for the trip ready to report back on things.

Two things I picked up at the Disney Store recently to get excited for the trip.

If that's the case then that's a really good deal. The value of a 1 day hopper is something like $180 vs the party ticket which cost less than $80 for these early Sept parties.

We ended up with 9 park hoppers last year due to the canceled parties with Matthew. We hated missing the parties but the park hoppers were nice consolations.

I actually emailed wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com but when I received my response it came from guest.services@disneyworld.com. I was told by multiple people to use the email address I used but I'm guessing either address will do...

I emailed them on Saturday night and I received a response yesterday morning. The first part of their response stated that all tickets are nonrefundable etc etc and that they were unable to provide the assistance I was requesting. I never asked for a refund btw.

Then it said that they were willing to make a one time exception and provide my family with 1-Day Magic Your Way Base Tickets. I then ended up calling the cast member back and she had to be one of the nicest "customer service" reps I have ever talked to! I honestly didn't think I would get anything because I waited until after the party but @FoxC63 posted on here a few times that Disney is very generous and not to give up.

Were you able to upgrade them to multi day tickets?

Thanks, yeah I couldn't do it the same way on a mobile device so it'll just be links but good to know it works.

I am feeling a bit better, back is still hurting a bit but I have a second appointment on Wednesday and cold is going although its given me a nice cough which is aggravating the pain in my back (right behind the shoulder blades).

I just tried to make myself a fake CM badge for my costume and I messed it up right near the end of making it so starting fresh tomorrow - it'll be made of cardboard with a coating on it to help protect it from the rain. Just the same shape as their name badge but doesn't look like an official badge.

This was my other little project....although I'd be wearing them on the same day so If I can't fit them in my bag I'll prob stick to the witch hat.

I copied the Hat and Mouse Minnie's witch hat fascinator design to create the hat that I shall clip on a headband. https://hatandmouse.com/collections...mini-halloween-witch-hat-mouse-ear-fascinator - I love it but I couldn't afford it and I have fine hair so it would not clip on my head well.

I plan to wear it for Minnie's seasonal dine and then I shall wear the sorcerer hat during Fantasmic! I stuck my moon a little too high

There you are!!!! I asked @hiroMYhero if ME was working at the airport this morning. Glad you & yours arrived safe & sound! I saw live streaming of the parks, they looked well prepared for the storm. Glad to hear you two had an excellent day. I'm sure the parks will be open on Tuesday. Let us know if you need anything.

no. That never even occurred to me. We used 4 on that trip for a great park hopping day to all four parks (teens who mostly just like the "bigger" rides). We still have 5 left. I am thinking of asking to upgrade to annual passes since dvc is having a good deal but even with the discount, those AP prices are hard to swallow. Using the hopper passes will help reduce the pain. We are going to try to get another set of park hoppers for the party on the 12th since we can't get down there until after the party starts due to the hurricane/travel. Does anyone know if I can combine 2 one day hoppers to upgrade to APs? That would come close to paying the AP cost.

Hi! Yes, thank you so much for this wonderful thread!! It's a wealth of information and so well organized too. Thank you so much!

My dh, dd, and I are going to WDW to celebrate my birthday and this is going to be our 1st MNSSHP. We couldn't be more excited!! We'll be staying at the poly and our trip dates are 10/4-10/8. We have party tickets for 10/5 & 10/6. Our focus during the parties will be on characters, parades, fireworks, magic shots, and shopping... pretty much everything except rides and ToT We're planning on doing rides in the mornings, taking a midday break, and then returning to MK for the party. I'll post our plans soon and look forward to receiving feedback. Thanks again!

I've not tried personally but everything I've ever seen says you cannot use the value of multiple tickets toward an upgrade.
