An Invasion of a "STRANGER" Kind.... NEW THREAD IS UP!! Go Thee NOW!

Hi, I just found your PTR and have spent the last I-don't-know-how-many hours reading. Thanks for the chapter links by the way!

I still have some catching up to do but all I can say so far is WOW! It sounds like you will all have a fabulous time.

I'm having a great time reading! Thanks for sharing.

Our dates cross too. :)

Oh I like that journal of yours! You're so creative, you know that? ;) But a little detail I did notice... are the covers the same or am I just slow? :rotfl2:

Try not to get too stressed. It's really not worth the toll it takes on your body. Remember to breathe. Take a breath. In and out... in and out...

:scratchin

Okay now I'm starting to sound like I'm coaxing you through labor!

I love your journal pages, especially the dining portion. Great way to keep track of everything for the TR :)

I forgot about that touring page! How fun :)

I love me some hoop. and doo. especially the dee.

the red wine isn't half bad....especially when it's bottomless..

So glad Mickey wanted to visit again. I just love your journals. We're celebrating here as our hockey team won their second game of the Stanley Cup Championship; we now go to Philadelphia for games 3 and 4. I have to tell you though that I'm too old for this stress.

Oh, I'm sure we can think of something puerile to fill it up with!;)

:lmao: I"m so sure we can! :rotfl2:

:welcome::welcome::welcome:!!! You are so very welcome to come and share all of our fun stuff over here! When I have extra time, I pick up extra PTRs to read too, so I know what a whole holiday/day off can bring!

I can also tell you, that I'm less- likely to dive into one that doesn't have links in it; I know how helpful they are. Glad they came in handy. :goodvibes

I can't believe how close we are now! We ladies are very ready for it all to be REAL!!

Now, about our dates crossing!!!! THAT MAKES ME VERY EXCITED!!! I may PM you.... :rolleyes1

Oh I like that journal of yours! You're so creative, you know that? ;) But a little detail I did notice... are the covers the same or am I just slow? :rotfl2:

I am so NOT very creative. Organized, mostly; creative, not really. Those were all DISigned by someone else! And no you're not slow, I was. I changed just for you. :rotfl2:

Try not to get too stressed. It's really not worth the toll it takes on your body. Remember to breathe. Take a breath. In and out... in and out...

My hair falls out when I'm stressed. I may have to buy Mickey ears so I can have something up on top.

Okay now I'm starting to sound like I'm coaxing you through labor!

My Thai labor and delivery nurse, hummed (monotone) to 10. I was about ready to kick her teeth out right around the 4th time she did it.

I love your journal pages, especially the dining portion. Great way to keep track of everything for the TR :)

Now, I just hope I remember to USE it! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

You do realize that saying that you like doo could get you into very serious trouble here. Especially since it's been ages since we've had some good old-fashioned potty humor happen. :lmao:;) And while you like the hoop- I like the "view". :rotfl2: The sangria was marginal; but I drank it anyway. :rolleyes1

Hi Kathy!! Yes I had heard that your Blackhawks are doing VERY well! I remember the last time I got all excited about a sports team doing so well was in like '91 or '92 when the Portland Trailblazers took a NBA title. (or almost did?) Fun stuff, if you "know" the players and keep up with it. If not, it's all sorta meh to me. You're a faithful fan!! GO! GO! GO! :cheer2:

I am soooooo hoping that by the end of June I have a Disney trip as an ESCORT!!! Tonite I finished up all my preplanning stuff for the trip to Lake George , utilized some forms from work that I like better , looked over the plans etc !! I am really looking forward to it !!! Althougth 4 days of Elvis is NOT my dream vacation, we will be during a Bruch cruise and other site seeing and of course we get to eat out every day!!!

Again, your pages look great Liesa! Can't wait for you to actually fill in those blank pages!

Mickey looks great! Even if those aren't your designs, you are still the one who collected them and put them together!! :goodvibes I like the dining notes, I hope this will really help you to actually really note these things down. I think on your first days that might be much easier. Eating solo, this will be something to keep you busy when waiting for your meal. :thumbsup2

Eating out isn't EVER a bad thing!! Elvis, not so much. But it sure beats scrubbing a toilet, right? :confused3

What stories I'll have to tell! I wonder if I should have had like TWICE as many blank pages! :rotfl:

Finding ones I really liked (and would have to look at for 2 weeks) took some time. The finished product is something I really like!

Also, the backs of the dining sheets are blank, so I can write all kinds of comments about how things tasted, and how good (or not) my service was. ;) You're right! Doing it solo will be easier to take time to write- once we ladies get together, all quiet moments are probably out. :lmao:

it was a good 2 first games, you did sit on pins and needles the last few minutes...

i kinda hope they lose one of the games in philly so they can win in game 5 at home.

I love this thread... it has everything from stolen outhouses to hockey games; running in slippers to yurts in the mountains. :rotfl:

100 days from now,

we'll be just over half way done with our trip! And the fun's still ramping up... On tap for today:

After facing the wrath of the mountain Yeti,

We'll tackle 2/3 of the AK Trifecta starting here for lunch:

(Thanks, Glennbo for letting me steal that!)

Hopefully, we ladies will refrain ourselves from picking our noses, like the guy on the far right. Then again, I might just do it, so I'll get more readers for my TR. :lmao: After all, if Jordan can walk around with a mystery smear all night, aren't I entitled to a little nose picking? :lmao:

For those of you didn't recognize it, that was Sanaa. ;)

After a day of more fun at AK, we'll stay in the vicinity, and eat dinner here:

(Stole this one from a dining review.)

Then, because we won't be done having ourselves all kinds of fun, we'll head back to our resort to catch this guy:

(Glenn provided this shot too. ;))

From there it will be easy to find our way "home", and hit the sack 100 days from now.

What a wonderful day!

Saana looks so pretty inside.

It looks so festive and pretty! I think I will see if maroo and LeeAnn are up for waiting for a window table- although I think with an 11:30 ADR, we shouldn't have a problem AT ALL!!! AHHHH, to watch the animals chow as we do. :lmao:

The food looks just as amazing!!!! YUM!

Sounds like a wonderful day! Jiko is a great restaurant - this reminds me that I really really need to restart Katharina's and mine TR! I want to tell everyone about our wonderful dinner at Jiko! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Hi Liesa! Sounds like a good day. I'm guessing the first pic is Sanaa, right? I know it doesn't look like Boma. Unless I'm not using to seeing it from that angle. So have you perused the menus for the AKL trifecta yet? Any idea what you might be ordering? (Anywhere else in the world this would be a weird question - but not here!)

YOU SURE DO!!! I'm dying for an update from your TR! I mean I don't even think you've gotten us to a park yet!!! :scared1: ANd you know, I for one, am VERY anxious for the JIKO review! I NEED To know what to order!

GOOD NIGHT, GIRL! I forgot to tell you where that was. I'll go fix that in the post right now. You were right; it is Sanaa! They have seats that give you a view into the animals places.

I have looked at the menus, and at Sanaa, I think I'll try to get LeeAnn to split a bunch of stuff with me, like the breads appie, salads, appie and then maybe just skip to dessert. Otherwise, I'll get the shrimp in green curry. :cloud9:

At JIKO; I JUST DON'T KNOW!!! :scared1::scared1: Again, I may go for an appie and dessert. I know I want to try some S. African wine, so I 'll probably do the wine flight, too.
