Worst ride to get stuck on.

I have to agree with those who said Splash Mountain. It was already least favorite ride to start with, and the time we got stuck I only agreed to go on because were riding with some friends. The log stopped towards the end of the Laughing Place, but within sight/sound range of the cave (hope that makes sense - haven't been on it since). We were there for probably twenty minutes listening to that horrible Laughing Place song - it still induces nightmares! It was made worse because we could also see the cave, so that kept up the suspense that the drop was coming up soon. At least we found the hidden Mickey in that scene!

The few other times we've been stuck haven't been for nearly that long (or with anything nearly as annoying). I've been stuck on HM and Spaceship Earth a few times - but all of those times it seems to happen just as our car is going backwards down an incline!

That would be a nice place to put your head back and get a little nap! ;)

I got stuck several times in the past, but here are my most memorable stories.

A ride everyone (I think) gets stuck on is Spaceship Earth, but one time I was stuck in the Dark Ages, where all of the burning wood smell is for at least 15 minutes.
Me and my aunt sat there, as we held our noses.
It wasn't incredibly horrible, but it wasn't pleasant..

2 times I got stuck on the Haunted Mansion for what felt like 20 minutes.
Once was with my grandmother, who'd never gone to Disney before. We got stuck in Madame Leota's room, and eventually, my eyes got increasingly used to the dark, so much that I could see the lights in the ceiling.
What made it worse was that my dad wanted to add to Madame Leota's constant talking, and play around, freaking out my Granny. :scared1:
It was one of the worst times in the HM ever.

The second HM story was when I rode for the first time alone.
I got stuck inbetween the entry and the ride in my Doom Buggy, alone, in the dark.
I actually saw some mainenance guy walk past the "stairs" in the entry doorway.
It was shorter than the previous story, but did prevent me from eating with my parents because of the lack of cell signal.

My last story happened at our most recent trip to Disney, in Toy Story Mania in December.
Me and my mother got to the first game, and halfway through playing the first game, the ride stopped completely.
Confused kids everywhere shouted, started crying, etc.
We started back up, only to stop again 2 games later.
In total, we were stopped for FORTY FIVE MINUTES in a ride that should've lasted only 3.

Sorry for my novel. :faint:

Worst for us was being stuck at the top of TOT + the lights were on and the CM comes on to warn us "that we will be going into full drop when it restarts":scared1:

First things first. NO WAY WILL I EVER EVER GET ON SMALL WORLD AGAIN. UNLESS MY MOM HAS FORCED ME. OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

I'm serious. IASW gets stuck EVERY time in that last room for us. I'm starting to think it's a part of the ride now. I don't mean stopping for 2 to 3 min. I mean like, 15 minutes of that song. And the creepy dolls. They are cute, but you start to think differently after getting stuck. Plus, It's sometimes in the middle of two passage-ways from one place to another where two different versions of the same song are playing. Like, Hawaiian and American or Chineese and African or w/e. :sad2: I hate thinking about it.

ALSO, Iv'e gotten stuck many times in SSE, but this was awfull. You know how rides are annoying and all when they are stuck next to an annoying repeating audioanimatronic? Well, I'd rather have it that way than THIS. We went to SSE (me and my mom) and got stuck - RIGHT when we got in the cart and it started to move. Some guy dropped his wallet in the middle of the ride somewhere in the part with all the cool lights at the end, and had to find it. My mom refused to let me get out of the cart - EVEN THOUGH we weren't even a foot close to the ride entrance. :confused3

Though the first was the WORST out of these, This is a close second. Right before the ending of Pooh, where they are cheering for him, and pohh is eating honey - YEAH. That's where I was stuck. I heard this four HOURS it felt like.

Oooh, Whoooo - And horray for Pooh too!
Oooh, Whoooo - And horray for Pooh too!

Agreed. XD Oh and I like your sig. I am a Princess Tutu fan too!:rotfl:

QUOTE=amzking;33376320]That would definately be a :scared1:!![/QUOTE]

The best was the pic of my 67yo Mom after we got off.

I am a Mytho/Rue/Ahiru fan. I am going to cosplay either Rue or Ahiru at an anime con next year. XD

Not sure if its the worst ride, but it is the only ride we got stuck on, Snow White's Scary Adventure.

We got stuck in the room where the witch is about the drop the boulder. Its was so weird, all the lights came on but the music and sound effects were still playing....I kept saying to fiance "it doesn't look like much once the lights go on." haha.

We got stuck on TT twice. The first time was my mom's very first ride at WDW. We got stuck outside (it was a nice day) on the curve, so we were at a 45 degree angle. Funny for the first 10 minutes, less so for the next 10.

The second time we got stuck was *just* before we were going into the cold/hot chamber. That time, the whole ride broke down and we were escorted out. It was pretty cool to walk through the ride!

DD and I got stuck on the Tower of Terror right before it dropped. We were stuck in the dark for 30 minutes before they came over the loudspeaker telling us they would be there soon. It was pitch black and we weren't sure if we were going to drop or not. A little freaky!! Finally someone came and turned the lights on, pushed us back (the car) and had to unlock it and bring over a step ladder so we could climb out. It was weird to see the ride with all the lights on. They did take us down the elevators and we got to ride again.

DH and I got caught in The Seas with Nemo in the "bubble" area. It was awful! DH won't go on the ride again.

We've been stuck on lots of rides, but the worst, by far, was The Great Movie Ride. We were stuck for about 30 mins and our "guide" was trying to be funny and just kept talking and making horrible jokes . . . it was the worst :sad2:

That happened to us last year! We were right next to Tarzan and heard him yell over and over and over...

And after 15 minutes or so I felt so sorry for the CM guide. She was trying to tell jokes and ask where every one was from. Awkward! :guilty:

We once got stuck on Splash Mountain very close to the big drop. Listening to the song "Everybody's Got a Laughing Place" began to sound demented and thinking about being the first couple of people to drop after a mechanical problem was stomach churning. We laugh about it now, though.

We didn't stuck on TT but the audio was stuck on the word "left", as in exit the car to the "left". So for the entire ride we heard "left, left, left" over and over. To this day it's a running joke in our house, out of no where someone will say "left, left, left" and we all lose it.

That's hilarious! You know that part of TT where you get in and haven't gone through the seat belt check yet, and the audio (lady's voice) can be heard telling every car "Hello! The seat belt check is just around the corner...", then you hear her start to repeat it again, and again...and again. It just keeps on going and going while they load several cars at one time. I always think of how annoying it must be for the CM's who work there to hear it over and over and over...lol.

I think it would be very scary to get stuck on ToT or RnR! I have to sike myself up to ride both!
