Stop what you're doing and watch major league right now!
Completely agree with
@rteetz! I love the first one!
Haven't gotten around to it yet! Sorry y'all.
That is a crazy coincidence that you may be in Florida for another game 7- I hope for your sake that it is a sweep (though my Dad has been a hard core Dodgers fan since they were in Brooklyn, so if they end up going to the World Series, I may wish for Dad's happiness as well

)
I'm hoping for the sweep too but realistically...we'll see.
And I'm going to take the plunge and buy my second InkNBurn right now. That pullover is beautiful!!
I'm so excited for it! The only bad thing about these pre-orders is that we now have to wait to get them! Wahhhh.
Congrats on the series!
Sorry to hear you won't make it to the world series ... but it's still pretty awesome that you got to see some games in the earlier series. I'm super jealous (I've never been to a playoff baseball game).
Yeah, we're really lucky to have seen 4 awesome play-off games (we also went to the somewhat famous "bug game" in 2007 vs. the Yankees) so I really cannot complain.
I saw the InB Monarch pullover ... and I really almost bought it. But then I remembered that the stupid government expects me to pay my student loans

It's so beautiful ... I can't wait to see how it looks on you!
Stupid government!!
Also ... I love the ISO kit. It actually kinda reminds me a little bit of Spaceship Earth ... so totally appropriate for a future Disney race!
AHHH you're totally right! I did not put that together!
Yes. This. Major League is a must-watch movie.
I'll get to it someday! I know they just rip on Cleveland though so it's never been a must-see for me...maybe it'll be more fun to watch now since Cleveland is having an awesome year.
I swore no more running clothes (or any clothes) until at least 2017 but that monarch pullover was too pretty to resist. I justified it with my March marathon and the fact that they've predicted a cold, snowy winter. Best to be prepared!
Yes, exactly! They really are great for colder weather, I LOVE having the thumbholes!
So exciting for you and Mr. A! And figures that we'd end up scheduling a college visit in the middle of the World Series! Arriving CLE Wednesday . . . and then driving back through Chicago on Friday night. At least it will all be wrapped up by the time we head to L.A. for the next college visit in November!
Right?! Wow, your timing is crazy! Who would have ever thought there would be a Cubs vs. Indians World series though?!
Definitely avoid downtown on Wednesday...but I'm sure you knew that.
Congrats to Cleveland!! What a great year your city is having! I'm a Braves fan so I remember the '95 series...we have been an embarrassment to baseball lately but that excitement that captures the city is so fun!
I remember the '95 series too.

I was but a wee 11-year-old. Heartbroken!!

(seriously, I was pretty upset.)

Truly, that monarch pullover is just stunning!! I ordered one and can't wait to get it! I LOVE that InknBurn listens to its fans!
Yay! I hope you love it!
The pullovers are my favorite thing they make, along with the long pants and the skirts...I'm excited to see what other pullovers come out this year.
The half course is about as meh as it gets...barely any park time! No world showcase even??? I feel like Wine and Dine is still trying to figure it out! I'm sure it will still be fun, but c'mon rD!
Right?! This race is definitely having an identity crisis this year.
Ugh - I feel you on playoff tickets. Since we're season ticket holders, if we want playoff tickets we have to pay UPFRONT for every possible playoff game that could be held. DS tickets were $30, CS tickets went up to $75 and World Series? $150! And, as is usual, I only got to use two of them. #WompWomp
Wow, that paying upfront business is crazy.
So we paid $60 apiece for DS and then $80 apiece for CS - all in the same category/section. I was pleasantly surprised by those prices (and that's why we went to so many games) and knew we'd at least be over the $100 mark for WS. I got an email the day before that the WS tickets went on sale saying that tickets in that same section were $170, which was pretty nuts. Mr. A said that was too much and I was just like "we weren't here for Game 7 for the Cavs, I have been waiting for this since I was 11, we NEED to go!" Then I actually opened up the ticket link and thanks to "dynamic pricing" (as my cousin, who is an accountant for the Indians, called it - they price based on demand) they were suddenly $205 apiece. Just couldn't do it.
That said, here is me with the Rick Vaughn hot dog from last year!

KETCHUP!! I always root for Ketchup in the hot dog race.
Well the WINDIANS get the cursed cubbies. I never mentioned this but I actually have a friend who's God parents are the owners of the Indians and her brother works in the front office. If the series goes to 6 and 7 they are flying out to Cleveland.
Well I hope we have completed the sweep by then!
I just read that the owners are flying all of the full-time employees out to Chicago for games 3 or 4...pretty classy!
I was at the Cubs game 6 games as a total undercover sox fan in cubs clothing. But ultimately just a baseball fan and so when I had the chance to be at a maybe-historic game I jumped at it. It was thrilling but insane afterwards.
I saw your pictures and I was just like, "oh no, I can't be friends with RoxyMama for the next 1.5 weeks" (J/K!!!

). How awesome that you were at that game!! How did you get tickets?!
Maybe I will need to do a bet with
@Ariel484 for something. If Cleveland wins I send you a Chicago thing(s) and vice versa? My brain is tired from the weekend so that's all I got so far.
HMMMM...we'll have to think about this!
Everyone at my work looks hungover today, I suppose it was the same in Ohio last week.
Last week, no (at least not that I noticed, but I work with a brunch of math/statistics nerds, so...) - the REALLY crazy day in Cleveland will be tomorrow. Not only is it Game 1 of the World Series, it's also the home opened for the Cavs - they'll be hanging the championship banner in the Q (Quicken Loans arena where the Cavs play) so I'm sure that will be a sellout, and of course the baseball game is a sellout. The Q and Progressive Field (where the Indians play) are right next to one another, like a 2-minute walk, so that area is gonna be CRAZY with fans, media, etc. and I'm thinking the entire city will be hung over on Wednesday.
I work downtown and drive right by there to go home so I'm seriously questioning my route home right now...
