Hello!
DH, DMiL and I will be in the LA area for two days this coming April, but I am not sure where to stay to minimize travel between destinations. We want to spend our first day touring the Reagan Library and the evening just relaxing, maybe a nice dinner out. The next day we plan to do the Hollywood walk of fame/El Capitan, etc. We will be flying into LAX and then traveling to the San Pedro Port after our brief tour. I was thinking about maybe staying in Calabasas, as it seems to be in the middle of everything and taking a taxi everywhere. Or staying at an airport hotel and renting a car. But, I will admit I am really good at getting lost.
Where would you stay? What do you think is most cost effective? Thanks for all of your responses!
