Where besides DLR for 4, 6 yo DD's?

We are taking an unexpected trip to LA area this week (March 17 - 21). We will have one free day, either Wednesday or Thursday. Besides DLR, where could I take my 4 and 6 year old DD's?

We just got back from WDW in Feb, and, while I would love to to go DLR for the day, I'm trying to save some money and not face the spring break crowds.

So, is there anyplace fun, less expensive than DLR, and not so crowded for a Wed or Thur of Spring Break in the LA, Long Beach, Cerritos area?

I'd say Legoland or Knott's, but you're trying to save money and/or avoid crowds. Maybe the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach?

Check Legoland's schedule. If they are open, I would consider it a must do with kids your age. I think it is more geared towards small children than DL.
