Hidely ho, foodarinos!!!

Welcome to the newest of our Walt Disney World food adventures ... the one that wasn't supposed to happen this year and actually hasn't yet but will very shortly. We leave for WDW on October 8th and will return to Stinktown on October 17th - that's my birthday ... there should be some kind of law against having to leave WDW on one's birthday.

As usual I've planned out our meals to incorporate a mix of old favorites and scary new places. And as usual we plan on eating our way around the world showcase food booths. And as usual we've got a few special F&W dining events scheduled.

So who are we anyway? We're a couple of silly DINKS who like to eat and drink and laugh.

Oybolshoi: Brenda a/k/a Bendy ... I'll turn 39 on the day we leave WDW and will no doubt need lots and lots of cheese to make me feel better about it once we get home.

DH: Jason ... just a wee bit younger than his old crohn of a wife and a far more adventurous eater, too.

Now, I feel honor bound to warn you that the following plan may still be subject to change at the last minute. Without getting into any details that you'd rather not hear, I've been under the weather since mid-August and am on my third dose of antibiotics. Odds are that I'll still be on more than one kind of drug come October and that could mess with our dining plans, but I'm going to do everything in my power to eat twice my weight in food and drink way more than I should. ;)

So, without further delay ... here's the ADR and pre-paid F&W line-up:

EDITED 10/17/08: We're back and the following is the list of all the reviews that we're planning to share with you ... yum yum yum! As each review is completed I will link directly to it in this post for those of you who don't want to have to wade through all the in-between stuff that is likely to pop up.

And did I mention all those F&W Festival booths? :rotfl2: We managed to sample food and / or booze at a total of 22 booths. Officially we missed four booths that were offering food, and two of those were by choice because nothing had changed from past years.

We were not on the dining plan, but did have the DDE card and didn't hesitate to use it! Also, those of you who thought we were supposed to dine at V&A are not crazy or imagining things - we had to cancel that reservation for this trip and now plan to dine there in October 2009 for my 40th birthday.

And finally and most important ... welcome to our reviews!! Thanks in advance for taking the time to re-live the food joy with us. We have a lot of fun stuffing our faces and drowning our livers on vacation and hope you enjoy reading all about it after the fact. Feel free to make comments or ask questions or whatever else you may like ... I love hearing from people and have made some wonderful DIS-friends thanks to threads like these.

:woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo:

Yay another Bendy food trippie :woohoo: :cool1:

Enjoy your food adventures!! :goodvibes

Oh.My.Goodness!

I can't believe I'm joining you at the almost beginning! How fantastically exciting! And what great ADRs....(Mama pauses to wipe a tear away as she reminisces about the great food she ate at some of those places just over 3 weeks ago.........sigh.......)

I'm 39 soon too! My last 30 birthday!

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather - I prescribe lots of WDW food to make you feel better!

Looking forward to hearing all about it!

Shari xx

Aw, Brenda, I am both :cool1: and  about this - happy because I love me some oybolshoi food reporting, and sad because hubby and I had planned to be there too from the 13th to the 18th, but had to move to the trip to January.

I had big plans for those F&W booths! Oh well, at least I'll get to live it vicariously through you, so pick up that mantle for the both of us, woman! :rotfl2:

So glad you gave in B! I hope I helped you make this decision. ;)
You're on the top of my "favorites" list. I plan on checking in often.:yay:

YAY!!! A Brenda report!! I am so excited I cannot sit still!

I am so bummed that we are passing each other this year (we arrive on the 17th) but we will make it up in 09 when we will be there at the same time...hmm to I smell time at the bars with Brenda and Jason?? Heck ya I do!

Enjoy Boma breakfast, eat a plate for me!

Have a fantastic time, eat lots and lots and tell us all about it and most importantly take tons of pics!

Looking forward to your always awesome reviews Bendy!

Yippee! Another fine report from our ace foodie mouths on the street. I will use your food musings to help me bide my time until our December trip. You should have one or two reviews posted by then, right? :goodvibes

YES!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

You're bringing a credit card, right????

Cause you know... I'm gonna want dessert... lots of dessert... and booze...

Why don't they call it the Booze and Food Festival??? Food and Booze??? :rolleyes1 Whatever...

LETS EAT!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Woo hoo a new dining report :cool1:

I really want to hear about Puck's upstairs, it's one we've yet to try and there are hardly any reviews available.

Plus, I'd love the Kitchen Conversation with Robert Irvine.

I'll have to remember your b-day 10/17 for planning next year maybe break in those little add on points I want so bad at BLT this is DH -->>> :scared1:

Yay! Subscribing at the beginning this time... historical, really.

So glad you like food so much :) What would we read if you didn't??

back in the saddle again - woohoo!!! glad to see you are up and running (or at least limping) back to wdw
your list of grazing spots sounds pretty impressive - i'm signing up for the long haul - can't wait!:goodvibes

I guess the Sleeping Beauty fan in me has kicked in, as I completely snoozed through your posting! I'm glad I woke up and found it. :thumbsup2

I'm going to be part of this report, sorta. I'm going to chime in here (and more than likely create my own report), since I'm attending two of Bendy's dining events.

And I'm also turning 39 soon. But Brenda is older than me.

I'm looking forward to the Robert Irvine thing. He has a habit of wearing tight tshirts that show off his "guns". ;)

definitely looking forward to your journey Brenda! I'm bummed b/c DH and I will be there late this year, don't arrive til the 22nd, I was going to be on Plankton watch to find you guys til we decided to go so late in the month
