View fireworks from hotel room?

We are deciding between Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club or Sequoia Lodge for our summer trip. My MIL has decided to come as well, so we will be getting 2 rooms. We plan on upgrading to the club level rooms. Is it possible to view the fireworks from any of these rooms or even the club lounge? Reading some reviews of the fireworks, it seems like it can only be seen in the park? Thanks for any help!

Unfortunately the only hotel that you can see Dreams is the Disneyland Hotel, and that's only from certain rooms. You may be able to see some of the high-reaching fireworks from HNY, but the park is hidden from view from most hotels.

We were able to see the top fireworks from our room at the Newport Bay Club but you really need to be in the park to see the projections on the castle.

Fireworks are low-altitude because DLP is allowed “regular” fireworks only for a few days per year. Unfortunately as the other members pointed out, this rule out quite every location except for the Castle Club rooms and lounge in the Disneyland Hotel.

If staying CC is out of option, you may also consider eating at Inventions or California Grill at the DLH. They have the music piped in (although at a low volume).
