I am ROLLING- literally LOLing- at the image of you in your tweedle ears mugging for selfies with your 9AM screwdriver.

Only because you are my BFF and I love to make you laugh...

The old couple from Vichy next to me were probably properly horrified at my behavior!

In my defense, they ordered bloody Marys...but they didn't have tweedle ears and were NOT taking selfies.

As soon as I was through security, I headed to Starbucks. I had the brilliant plan to tell them my name was Tweedle Dee when I ordered so that I would have that written on my cup. Brilliant, I tell ya...until there were only two people in line and they didn't bother asking me for my name! So, in true Tweedle form, after they handed me my drink, I asked to borrow their sharpie and wrote it on there myself! Take THAT!

Oh man, I hate when they don't ask your name. Good job getting the sharpie and putting it on there yourself. I love it!

I went to use my booze coupon that they had sent me and the friendly attendant told me that it wasn't any good there and to use it on another flight. I went to give him an attitude about it b/c y'know, I NEEDED my screwdriver at 9am???...and he touched my arm and said "HONEY. I SAID, it's no GOOD here, use it on another flight!" and winked at me. I felt dumb at that point, seeing as he was going to give me a free drink apparently, so I apologized and promptly put on my Tweedle ears.

Yeah, I probably would have missed that one too ... but at least you got the free drink. Even if the flight attendant thought you were crazy.

I finally reached the ME area and saw my Tweedle! We hugged and then attempted to not make it awkward. We're so much alike though, both shy when we first meet people. We should have just started cursing loudly, that would have helped! I suspect she thought I was being strange and I just KNEW she HATED me just from our first 5 minutes together!

Always awkward meeting online/phone friends for the first time ... but I feel like by the ME area anything goes. It's pretty much Disney, and at Disney everyone can be your new BFF, even if you haven't met them yet!

Unfortunately, they didn't think that some Tweedles might not know where they are going when looking for said room, so we meandered around a bit trying to figure out where to go!

It could be worse ... you could have gotten a map at the front desk with the room circled and the route all written out ... and still gotten lost. I've done that. At least now you have an excuse for not knowing where to go!

I met your Karen a couple of years ago and try hard to understand the love of running. Try. Insert wink. But I excel at supporting races and pretty pictures.

And Iève knocked my keyboard into French, so I canèt even write a coherent sentence.
Hi Karen, I did not know you had a TR until today. I found out this afternoon through a comedy of errors. Short story, lost on this new system. Suddenly canèt seem to multi-quote, wondered out loud to a friend if the choice of conversation was private, got a great tutorial on it all that I have to take in, didnèt know following and followers from prior friends list meant that there was a *feed* that actually corresponds. And found your TR on my feed when thinking that maybe I need an avatar. So an exasperating day turned out with a lovely surprise. Your TR!

So will go now to get the french keyboard off somehow. Will catch up soon. And congratulations to all of you.

Tweedle, Lisa is the best cheerleader ever and my biggest photography fangirl! With good reason because she has an amazing talent for taking photos as well!

I'm so glad you found me! I am struggling my way through the new board too, some things I like better but it's taking some getting used to!

I've got it off. Yeah. So I won't say tabarnac. AND I just found a fast, new way of quoting. Do you know that you when you highlight over anything that quote comes up? Yes, I'm sure everyone knows. I just found it in my friend's tutorial. And I thought I was a slow learner. Yeah.

And Liz is absolutely right. You do look adorable in every picture.

I took Mom to see McFarland. I didn't want to see it as I get tired of movies where the white man/woman saves the day or this or that. But it was the only movie that worked with our schedule and what kind of movie she would sit through.

But if that movie and you guys don't get me running, well never will. Inspiring.

This isn't my first rodeo with Karen. I needed a kick in the pants to get moving and I knew this would do it... we just made a date for a local 5k. She's the bestest friend ever and even offered to walk with me.

Tweedle Confused Arrival & Lunch at Mara

Right, so Tweedle Karen covered everything pretty good with the pictures and the story of arrival/meeting.

My flight was fine.. I didn't get patted down or tested for illegal substances (like I did prior to a certain Cruise where I almost had a show down with the TSA). My flight boarded & I was on my way and even arrived in Orlando early.

Lots of confusion over meeting places as I kept changing it. But my fake Tweedle and I hung out while awaiting real Tweedle.



I was nervous as heck awaiting Tweedle Bossy's arrival.. as she mentioned, while I figured we'd be absolutely fine together based on extremely similar personalities, I am shy. Really, I am.. especially meeting new people.

But she arrived and brought me gifts. And since Tweedles respond amazingly well to bribes... I was smitten.

Not only did I get my own awesome pair of Tweedle ears.. (hanging proudly in my living room right now!) but also a sweet adorable Tweedle necklace that two of my children have already tried to steal. And super sweet Magic Band Tweedle Covers!!



I think by the time we arrived at our resort, we were fine. Least I was....We may have even had our first of many, many, (many, many, many) Tweedlebumps.

TweedleBump: Inability for Tweedles (either of them) to walk in a straight line at any given time and therefore bumping into each other.

So we wandered around, Tweedlebumped our way into our room finally after getting lost and dropped our stuff.

Karen wanted artsy pictures of our super cool bands....
(disclaimer- any picture that is beautiful or artsy is Karen's. Not mine!)



And then we decided to head to Mara to grab lunch before the expo.



We contemplated menus and both went with flatbreads. Karen's was a veggie...



Mine was BBQ Chicken.



We got cupcakes. And booze.

That would be a Butterfinger Chocolate cupcake and an Orange Marmalade Cupcake. Both were 'ok'.



And I had water.

Because water is a life source. Karen.

And then I had to find the bathroom. Shoot, that should have been our TR report title.. A Tale of Tweedles and Disney Bathroom breaks.

And then there was a busy of wonderful excitement as two cupcakes came in!

And I showed off my superior picture taking skills...



It was right after this picture Karen started looking for a new Tweedle. One that wouldn't ruin all her pictures!

When no Tweedles appeared, she made do with the one she had & declared a selfie. I took this opportunity to make sure I rearranged myself 'to better fit in the picture' and it came out like this:



Notice the big empty space on the right? That was where I was supposed to be. Karen's words "why is there a big empty space in the picture?" Uh... I dunno?

MOVING ON. We were off to the expo. But first.. another picture. That showcases my awesome picture taking skills (which are throwing stupid deuces and opening my mouth randomly).



Next: Expo.

Oh, oh...what high school did you go to? Ah, St. Louis humor. I'm out in St. James, near Rolla. We've been here 11 years but I grew up in St. Louis and my mom and sister still live there. I'm going to do the RocknRoll 1/2 in October in STL. Welcome!!

No drunk grandmas here but there were some tipsy tweedles and a water nazi...YES, I'll drink my freaking water Tweedle! Sheesh! Nicole is an unyielding waterpusher. It's insane. No wonder Grandma drinks! and that's not water... water isn't BROWN!

Ha! Gotta love the STL humor! It's a very interesting city! I went to Lindbergh by the way, a true St Louisan can't resist that question! Lol! I have been through St. James many times (on my way to THE lake of course). My favorite things there, Rubys Icecream and the wine lol!

I swear our little town is only known for Ruby's! and wine! Two very nice things to be known for! I went to Ladue (which usually gets me a raised eyebrow or two)...as an adult I lived in South County though and my sister lives in Crestwood, so my niece and nephew went to Lindbergh!

A trip with about 20 women- yup, lots of estrogen!

But there is a little bit of injury. And Jellyrolls. Course I may just talk about how cute I think the Jellyroll dudes are....which would bring us back to too much estrogen!
