Town Car Co -anyone else had problems with car seat in town car?

I'm trying to book Cartier for a town car, but they're saying they only provide booster seats in town cars. I have a 1yo and 4yo, with the 1yo needing a car seat. They were quick to tell me they could reserve a van for me for more money, but I don't want to do that.

I've emailed the other companies, but I haven't received a response yet.

Has anyone else had this problem and could offer suggestions?

We used Tiffany Town Car last June, and requested a car seat for my 3 y/o. The seat that they had in the van was a newer convertable type, the kind that can go from car seat to booster. It had the 5 point harness system. I can't for the life of me remember what brand it was, but I do remember that it looked new, and it was clean.
