Day 5 December 13, 2000

Today is Islands of Adventure day. Diane doesn't want to go and decides to hang out at Disney. She has plans to shop at the Marketplace and after breakfast in the food court we split up.
I check out the map and find a back route to Universal. Don't ask me what it is right now, because I threw the map out and didn't write it down! It takes us about 20 minutes to get there and we head into the parking lot. It cost $7 to park and they parked us as far away as possible. It takes us another 20 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the park! We wait in line to buy tickets and head on in. The only thing I really want to do is ride Spider man and that is what we do first. We have to do baby-switch since Brenden is just a little guy and isn't tall enough to ride anything in this park but the stuff in Suess Landing.
Spiderman is AWESOME. It is the best ride I have ever been on!!
We get autographs from Spidey himself and also Storm for the X-Men. We walk through the park and spend some time in Jurassic Park at the welcome center? Before heading off to Suess Landing. It is really cute and we ride the carousel, one-fish-two-fish and the Cat in the Hat.
It is almost 12:30pm and we go to Confisco's for lunch. The food is really good and Spiderman, Bluto, Woody, Beetle Bailey and some other guy that told stories was there. Brenden was really scared of Bluto, but liked Spiderman a lot. We head back over near Spiderman the ride so Sean can buy a hat and watch the Hulk coaster go under the street. Brenden really liked that. We left the park by 1pm and were back at Disney by 1:30pm. Brenden fell asleep in the car, so that was his entire nap for the day. We find my mom and mom and I head over to the outlet mall to find the Disney outlet.
We go to the premier outlet off of I-4 and get some great bargains on souvenirs. I got a few T's and sweatshirts 5 things in all for under $40! Mom buys my nieces and nephews a few things. They had summer and winter items there and the store is really neat and clean. I will definitely go there again.
Tonight is date night for Sean and I and we have 6pm reservations for the Villains dinner. We drive over to the Grand Floridian and get there about 5:30pm. We valet the car and are at the restaurant by 5:35pm and are seated right away. The buffet is okay, but I am not a buffet food person. They had prime-rib, clams, salmon, ravioli, garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and a few other items that I can't remember. The bread on the table was to die for!! Two huge rolls, one white and one wheat with a sweet crust. I would have been happy with just that! The characters tonight were the Queen of hearts, Captain Hook, Radcliff, and Prince John. I was a little disappointed as I had wanted to see Cruella or Malifacent.
We are out of there in less than an hour and head over to the Boardwalk to go to Jellyrolls. We decide not to valet park and walk forever from the parking lot. Gosh my feet are killing me!! Jellyrolls is really fun and we will definitely go here again. We get back to our room about midnight and fall right to sleep!!
Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom and Donald's Breakfastasauras.

I can see why your feet are killing you. YOu really had a busy day.

We're going to have to try the Villian dinner next time. It sounds like fun. :)

Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
