Today the plan is to visit the Magic Kingdom and the Epcot. We are up by 5:30 since this is EE day at MK. We drive to the TTC and ride the monrail over. We are at the park by 7:30. Toay is very cold and we start the day by wearing our winter coats! We get a locker so that as the temp goes up we can shed the coats and don't have to carry them around.

We then head over to Fantasy land. My Mom's all time favorite ride is It's a Small World so we ride that first. We then head to Peter Pan's Flight which has no line. We then made our way to ride the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. This turned out to be Alex's favotite ride at Disney. He rode with his mouth open and eyes wide. He was in heaven. We then decide to get fastpasses for Buzz Lightyear. While we wited for our fast pass time we tried to find somewhere to get a quick breakfast. I am sure some place other than a sitdown resturant had something, but we didn't find it. We ended up with OJ and Mickey Cookies from the Launching Pad in Tommorowland. Not the best breakfast but Alex enoyed it! ;)

By then it was time for our fastpass return, so we road Buzz. Alex enjoyed moving the car around. I ended up with a dismal score of 7000. I vowed I would try to get a better score sometime during our trip. My DH claims he scored 11 million. Some how I don't quite belive that one. :) Next we decided to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean (whick Alex slept through) and the Jungle Cuise.

Now it was time for our 11:30 PS at the Crystal Palce. I stood in line 10 minutes just to check in. 11:30 is the first lunch seating so we were called quickly and we had Eyore at out table with in 1 minute. He came by so fast after being seated that I did not have the autograph book and pen ready. I was able to take some pictures though. Next came Tigger and then Pooh. The characters spent a long time at our table which was nice. The resturant was still less than half full. We filled our plates and dug in! :) The food was excellent! (except for my Mom who thought it was terrible ;) ) I feel that charachter meals are a good value considering the amount of food available and the character interaction. As we were getting ready to leave Eyore came back to our table and we were able to get his autograph and a few more pictures! (I ended up taking 9 rolls of pictures this trip, and they all turned out!)

One of the things I learned from this board was the sillouette cuttings done in a little shop on main street. I had one done of Alex and it only cost $7 and it takes less than 5 minutes to have done. They don't let you charge this to the room, so have cash or a credit card.

Now we were ready to leave to head over to EPCOT for the afternoon and evening. We went back to the Beach Club and Alex and Robin were very tired, so they decided to stay at the hotel and take a nap while my Mom and I went over to EPCOT. We walked over (only takes 5 minutes from the beach Club) and headed for the world showcase.

We started in France and saw Impressions de France. this is my favorite EPCOT movie. It's always a must see. By this time we were ready for a snack, so we stoped at Boulangerie Patisserie. We both had the marble cheescake. It's a tradition to stop here a few times each trip. It is always sooo good! :)

We walked through Morocco and Japan. We then stoped to see the American Adventure. This is always a must see as well. It is so well done and very touching. We next walked through Italy and Germany and looked in all the shops.

We then went to Norway and we road the Maelstrom. this ride had one of the longest waits of any ride during our stay, 30 minutes. What's up with that? I like this ride but my Mom hated it. We didn't stay for the movie.

We made our way to Mexico and rode the El Rio del Tiempo. I know this is not a very popular attraction, but I always enjoy it. By now it was time for our 5:45 PS at the San Angel Inn. Robin and Alex were right on time and we were setted quickly. We had a table in the middle of the seating area. The one drawback of this resturant was that the tables were too close together. We felt like sardines. I ordered the Plato de la Frontera (beef tenderloin, chicken burrito, and hard shell taco) and it was wonderful!!! :D This was the best meal I had during our trip. Robin had a special chicken dish with less spices that our server was nice enough to arrange. Robin has a sensitive stomach, but loves Mexican food. My Mon had Camerones Con Fideos (shrimp marinated and grilled over angel hair pasta) and hated it. I tried a bite and thought it was good. My Mom picked this resturant but during the meal said she never likes "authentic" mexican, only "american" mexican. So be pre-warned. For any of the Disney resturants I would recommend looking that the menus that they have on Deb's or this site. Many of the resturants have fairly limited menus, so there can be little to choose from. Another quick tip is to make PS if at all possible. Many of the resturants were booked solid and were not accepting walk ins! One night during our stay the only resturants available were in Morocco ad Germany.

After dinner my Mom was tired and offered to take Alex back to the room with her so that Robin and I could have some private time together. We gladly accepted the offer! :)

Since Robin had missed everyting we did this afternoon, we decided to hit the World Showcase again. We road the El Rio del Tiempo, the Maelstrom, and we visted all the shops in the world showcase.

By this time we were tuckered out and headed back to the Beach Club. It was nice to just take a short walk and be back at the room. We did some laundry and headed to bed.

Part 4 - Magic Kingdom and EPCOT again

That was nice of the server to help Robin out. I dont eat real spicey foods either.

I wish they would put fastpass on The Malestrom. It has the longest lines we've encountered as well. I also wish there was a different exit to bypass the movie. :D

It sounds like a wonderful but tiring day. Lots of walking in Epcot. :)

Thanks for sharing your trip with us. :)
