We get our Mickey wake up at 6 and start getting prepared for our long day ahead. Head over to Music to catch the bus to MK and no sooner than we get there that it pulls up.
We get to the gates just as they are letting us in for Early Entry. We know what Alex wants first so over to Tommorrowland we go so he can do Buzz. I think we're the first one's there and we walk right on. This is hand's down DS's favorite ride in the park. We get off and he wants to go again so around we go.
I head over to Alien Encounter, going solo on this since Judy isn't thrilled with things that scare the begeebers out of her. While in line I hear a voice say, "THE DIS!!!" I turn and it's a wonderful lady named whosits aka Della and her hubby waiting too. We have a nice chat before entering and once we got off I was gonna talk some more but they dissappeared.
We have PS for Chef Mickeys so we head to the monorail for the short ride there. The food was as good as always and the characters were more interactive than I remembered before. With bellies full, we head back to MK. By now our meal has settled and Alex wants to do Splash(we've been talking a lot to him about trying new rides) He was a little apprehensive at first but ended up really liking it. Since they ducked they stayed dry and I got fairly wet. Didn't mind though, it's pretty warm today.
Not ready for Big Thunder Mtn yet, so we head over to Fantasyland. Alex and I get in line for Dumbo while Judy explores the shops. (I had the money so I was safe) This line actually moved fast this time and we get on quickly. This is all we wanted to do here for now so we decided to let Alex blow off some steam at Donalds Boat over in Toontown. Words of advice, the kids love to play in the fountains, so bring extra clothes for them. We stripped Alex down to just his shorts and turned him loose. He had a ball and got absolutely soaked. We have a special meeting so we get him dry and changed and head back to Tomorrowland.
About 1:30 our special meeting happened. Wheelsie and her hubby Dan met us and what a great lady. It's amazing how you can just talk to those DIS friends in person just like you've know them for years. We spend about an hour or so chatting and we part company.
We have tix for MVMCP so we head back to the hotel to catch a quick snooze so we can stay awake. We awake at 6 to the sound of pouring rain, this doesn't look good. By 7:30 the rain has stopped and we're waiting at the gates for the party. We go inside and wait at a designated place for Judy's brother and friend to join us.
We wander down Main St and marvel at the decorations, heading towards Liberty. While there we see a photo spot and get our MVMCP pics taken. By now it's about time for the parade so we plant ourselves in front of the Hall of Presidents. This is actually a good spot to watch since there's a wall to sit on and there's no room for anyone to stand in front of you. I really like this parade, it's a shame it's not going to be televised this year.
We stroll a bit, not really heading anywhere in particular and decide to try Country Bear Jamboree Xmas. While in the waiting area we hear the fireworks start so we rush out to catch them, the area right next to the Riverboats gave us a great view and these fireworks are more extensive than the regular MK ones
Fireworks over we go back to CBJ and get there as they open the doors to the theater. This is a cute show and Alex really loved it(Judy too). As we head around we see Twas the night Before Christmas show starting so we move on in. All the seats were taken so we had to stand, and my feet hurt bad after that. Getting tired after this so we head out and say our goodbyes to BIL and friend.
Back at the hotel we try to stay awake but just can't. This has been an exhausting day, but well worth it
