I hope it’s just that someone screwed up and not that they are looking at it for ROFR. Fingers crossed!!!

It does seem more like it got missed, certainly not that ROFR randomly picked yours.

Mine is also past the 30 days - so I went and asked my broker why. Mid April I had to sign an addendum because the broker messed up the sellers names on the contract and that apparently restarted the ROFR process including timeline too.

So my “new” 30 days will be May 17th🤢
 
I was at DLR today, so I wasn’t compulsively checking my email—and @MsChristy12 is at least a few days ahead of me, so I thought it was a long-shot unless they did a huge batch process. I think we are approaching 3 weeks on our contract submission and it’s clear that the ROFR process has slowed down a bit from the contracts that were submitted in March. This is my first resale purchase and even though I know we weren’t guaranteed express turnarounds, but ::cues Tom Petty:: the wai-ai-ting is the hardest part!

This is true. In late February, I had a contract clear ROFR on a sold-out resort (SSR) in 8 days. I just closed on a contract at AUL which, being in active sales, should have simply been a rubber stamp and not even a ROFR candidate during any other times, and it took 17 days.

Oh man, this makes me hesitant to buy grand Floridian direct, which is what I've been looking at w the magical beginnings offering plus the current incentives, but you got such a good deal!! 😍
Not that I need more points, but ya know...
 
What happens if its passed the 3 day deadline and the sellers still haven't signed? They have been contacted by the broker and still haven't signed.

I think you have the right to get your deposit back and go somewhere else. I would read the contract first and confirm but if it's a big issue for you, I would look into it.

I think you have the right to get your deposit back and go somewhere else. I would read the contract first and confirm but if it's a big issue for you, I would look into it.

It does say if it isn't signed by both buyer and seller within the 3 days that this offer shall be deemed withdrawn.
