We stayed for 5 nights at the Anabella last week in a Casita Suite - which has a separate small room with a day bed & wall mounted tv. The location was great, we loved accessing Disneyland from this direction. All employees we spoke to were very respectful and nice. Bell services was superb as well. Anytime entering the lobby the doors were always opened for us and we were greeted warmly. The Lobby is very warm and welcoming - lodge style with the large beams on the ceiling.

The room was very large, there was a separate counter with mirror from the bathroom which I always appreciate. Fridge in the room as well as coffee maker, hair dryer, etc. There are no elevators which we managed to deal with using our stroller. We used Bell Services to move our luggage upstairs & back down.

The Concierge & the Manager went above & beyond to try and help up sort out a problem with a Private Car reservations.

Now for the negative:
The extra room was difficult to regulate the temperature...we had to leave the door open which negated the purpose of having a separate room for our 2 year old. The other issue we had was that the heater was horribly annoying. It would turn off every few minutes for about 20 seconds, then start up again. All night long.

The TV Remote was difficult to use as well.

I was also disappointed that there was no dresser in the room. For long stays (we were there 5 nights) I like to unpack my suitcases and there was not anywhere to store clothing for 3 people. My parents were in the door next door and and they at least had a desk on one bare wall, but it didn't provide any storage either. There were three tiny drawers in the TV stand, but they didn't hold much.

The Daybed in the extra room was REALLY loud and squeaky, a few times we laid with our daughter to get her to sleep and it was a struggle to get out of bed without waking her because it was so loud. My parents room next door the daybed did not have this problem.

All in all we would consider staying here again on our next Disney trip, but likely only if the season we visit is less severe (less extreme cold/heat). We really enjoyed entering Disneyland through the GCH and DTD. At $100 a night I felt it was a steal. The website states wi-fi is available at a charge, but they had slow speed wi-fi for free, which was more than fast enough for us to check our emails. They do also charge a daily fee for parking, but we didn't have a car so it wasn't an issue.

Thank you for sharing your experience, good and the bad. That is crazy that they don't provide real storage there. That would be an issue for me, too.
