Back in 1997 and 1998, we got massive discounts if we would stay at CSR; the hotel was pretty new and they were having trouble getting people to try it, I guess. Both times we got to stay there for the same price or less than staying at a value resort (1997 it was $5 less a night than a value, 1998 it was the same price).
With the new codes out it seems as if they are pushing CBR and AKL really, really hard. I have not heard of any deals being offered for a specific hotel only in ages, and I was wondering if anyone else has? I'm starting to wonder if they might offer a little more off selected properties in a month or so to spread people out more if they don't fill with the code offer. or am I wishing for WAAAY too much pixie dust?
