Any one have pictures of what the altar looked like at your wedding or VR?

I am looking for ideas. The only picture I got from Disney was for $200, so I'm looking for other ideas and if you have the cost and wouldn't mind sharing that too - I'd be grateful.

Thanks much!!!

I had three vases on the altar at the WP. They were later moved to the reception tables.

Thank you, they were $125 each and they were small. But they were pricey because we used expensive flowers. Peonies and the orchids that they used weren't exactly in season so I'm sure that brought the price up. Very worth the money though because they smelled amazing and looked gorgeous.

We sort of "created our own" arrangement with our floral designer at our planning session. I knew I didn't want anything on top of the altar, but I wanted to highlight it somehow. This is what we came up it- it was BEAUTIFUL!

I second that! This is really simple and beautiful!!!

We had 6 clear vases of varying heights filled with water, rose petals and a candle. We also had our sand ceremony setup and a scattering of rose petals on top of the alter.

I really, really like this design (and it is in the color we'll be using)! Thank you for sharing. If you don't mind me asking...was it expensive?

Thank you! It was about $650 for the entire arrangement. It was a little more expensive then I would have liked, but it was worth it.

That's like $100 for each vase plus $25 per sash. It's a very pretty arrangement, but I have no idea how Disney justified that price. (And please know I mean to offense to you by that ... I'm just absolutely blown away that they made you pay that much for vases, petals and candles.)

May I ask what the cost of your arrangements were? Also the stephanotis in your bouquet - did you have to pay extra for those?

Wow! A bit more than I would like too, but it does give me an idea. We're thinking of doing our own decorations; and I have a friend (who is like a sister to me) who is willing to help me and is also willing to do the decorating that day for us.

I don't have the amount in front of me right now for the altar pieces but I promise to post it tomorrow. I do remember that the stephanotis were about $6 each plus another $3 for each hidden mickey that were placed inside them.

We had two small arrangements on either side of the unity candle. They were moved to our sweetheart table after the ceremony. We used an outside florist, but they were $50 each.

We felt the same way, but believe it or not, I had quotes from three other outside florists and none of them could beat Disney's price! I'm not sure why vases filed with water and rose petals are so expensive, but I guess they are! lol

I looked at the floral BEO and the cylinders filled with petals and floating candle were $10.75 each (that included the petals and candle) totaling $64.50 for 6 of them. The sprinkle of rose petals on the altar was another $15.00 and the sand ceremony including the sand and 4 jars was $35. The total for our altar table with everything on it was only $114.50. I'm even amazed it was so cheap!

The only other decor we had at the pavilion was a runner with a sprinkling of roses and Tulle aisle swag.

Runner ~ $75
Petals ~ $75
Tulle ~ 150
Tulle bows ~ $15 each

Total for Wedding Pavilion ~ $504.50

As you can see the aisle decor was most of the budget. But I liked the look of it so I'm glad we went for it. We also reused the Altar decor for our Reception which saved us tons of money.
