Park Vue Inn vs. On site Disneyland hotels

T
I'm at work right now. I'll post the pictures tonight. I know I have pictures of the 2 queen suite, and the jacuzzi suite. I'll see if I have the 2 queen regular room as well :)

Call and ask! They often don't have rooms online, but when I call, they find one... And for a better price!
They are booked up, but I did get a much better price on the phone :) I'm going to keep checking as we get closer. We ended up with a queen/bunk bed room and I'd prefer a 2 queen or bigger.

Okay, I can't find the pictures of the 2-queen room. Bummer! My computer crashed, and we had to buy a new one... Apparently I hadn't saved those pictures. However, here's what I have!

2 Queen Suite with fold out couch. Pictures from June 2015. ... Room 118, I think.

The Living Room area (with a ticked off kiddo--she doesn't like leaving!). The couch folds out into a double (maybe queen?) size bed. DD says it's reasonably comfortable. Hard to see the fireplace (it's behind DD), and the kitchen from this angle.

Table, kitchen, and vanity outside the bathroom (just beyond the front room, above)

Kitchen area (the fridge is just under the counter where the water is)

Bathroom. Not glamorous, but it works, and we appreciate the second vanity in here, so I can get ready with one mirror while DH is getting ready in the other area (or, while DD is getting ready).

Bed nearest the window. There's a desk facing the foot of this bed.

Here's the desk area. Of note, the desk has USB port charges built in! So nice to have all our devices in one place!

The other bed. Notice the ceiling fan, and recessed lighting. And there's the AC/heater unit right there too. There's a mirrored closet at the foot of this bed.

And now the Jacuzzi suite, before the update! Can't remember what room number it is--it's the last one on the bottom floor on the main building. Pictures taken July 2013 (awwww, our honeymoon).

Here's the King bed, looking back--there's a small table, a small dressing area, and, in the back, a closet with mirrored doors.

The Jacuzzi. For the record, DH at 5'8" and 250lbs, and me at 5'3" and 170lbs were fairly squished! Not very romantic, but soooo nice to not have to go outside to the hot tub after a long day at Disneyland!

Here's the desk area. It's right as you walk in the door, to the right.

Hope this helps some!

We stayed last summer at PVI and LOVED it!! Had I not gotten such a great rate at the new Homewood Suites we would have def been staying there again for our trip next summer, we had a queen with bunk beds my kids loved it I always HIGHLY recommend it, and I am the same way as OP I would LOVE to stay at DLH but when I start looking at prices and comparing prices I just can't justify it! There is so much more we can do with that money! And we usually stay 10-14 days on our visits so even a split stay has crossed my mind but I just can't make myself be ok with it!

I've never stayed offsite, it's just not an opition for us when it comes to how close and extra perks of getting in the parks early. For us, staying on site is worth every penny. We get our money's worth everytime we go to Disney and have it planned out in a way that we ride every single ride and get to see every single show in just a 3 day stay.
