No Mickey's Soundsational?

Hey Friends,

We will be traveling at Disneyland April 18th, 19th and 20th

We will get into town on April 17th... I'm thinking that I will need to upgrade our 3-day socal passes to include Sunday... because The Matterhorn and Grisly both go down for refurb that Monday.

Being a WDW-veteran - I am used to a daily parade. Is soundsational only offered on the weekends?!

Disneyland Website says its is 4:30pm only Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Are there any other major differences of things that aren't offered during the week at Disneyland that I would expect? I saw Dapper Dans are apparently off on Mondays and Tuesdays!

Typically Mickey and the Magical Map doesn't run every day this time of year. It was down Tues, Wed, Thurs this week. Though in the morning there were school choirs and bands playing there. Other performance groups besides the Dapper Dans have a few days off during the week. It will be on the printed schedule at the turnstile for your week. Soundsational ran once per day this week, at 4:30.

Soundsational is generally offered daily, but they have been cutting entertainment offerings recently and it looks like Soundsational is dropping down to weekends (Fri-Sun) only for the dates that have been posted on the Disneyland.com calendar (mid-May). The last day for the Frozen Sing-Along in DCA is Sunday, April 17th.

Magical Map is a must too... I will have to do some digging for that as well!

Here is what I have found so far for my trip... Hopefully DCA won't be too crazy in the off season and I can take advantage of single rider... Because I will not be able to do a DCA rope drop being off site!

Disneyland Day!

Mickey and the Magical Map


Paint the Night - 8:15pm

Disneyland Forever - 9pm


April 19th - Tuesday:


Magic Morning at 8am - Disneyland Park


World of Color Dessert Party - 7:30pm

Word of Color - 8:15pm


April 20th - Wednesday:


DCA opening at 9am - Competing with Extra Magic Hours at 8am

Am I missing anything? Suggestions?!
