No appetizer at CS meal on dining plan?

With the dining plan, didn't we used to get an appetizer with a CS meal? I could have sworn we did last year yet reading over some brochures we just received from Disney, it says only entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage for a CS meal.
Now that I am reading it again, it does not mention (like it used to) that tax is included at either TS or CS, yet does mention the gratuity. hmmmmm...just curious.

The MYW w/dining did not include an appetizer with CS last year.

Tax is included.

We only received a desert with the cs meal, tax was included. With the ts meal we had the appetizer, meal, desert, and tax/tip was included.

The old vouchers let you get a side with your CS meal. Some posters assumed that meant you could do the same with the dining plan, YOU CAN'T. If you buy a combo that comes with a side you get it otherwise you pay out of pocket for any a la carte items.

I don't even remember seeing appetizers at CS meal places. Even the combo meals don't have them.

Do they even HAVE appetizers? Are things like french fries or onion rings considered appetizers, or side dishes? My brain hurts. I don't know how I'm going to get through five days on this dining plan thing.
