NEMO Warning - Don't Flush the Fishies

I heard on the radio that lots of kids are flushing fish down the toilets after seeing "Nemo". They think they are freeing them to return to the ocean. In fact, they are sending them to certain death at the sewage treatment plant either by the chemicals or the grinders!

So, if you've got kids, fish and a toilet....keep an eye on them after seeing "Nemo."

I just had this conversation with my DD. I had to tell her that all drains do not go directly to the ocean. I didn't go into any details but I wondered about that comment in the movie.
