And now for part 2 of our magical trip to Disneyland Resort. On the 21st we went back to MK and by this day I felt like we hadn't taken much time to see characters, and vascubaguy, the good sport that he is, humored me. And even though we didn't officially meet any characters (meaning we didn't stand in line to pose for pictures) we did get to see and take some good shots. First we were excited to see Prince Charming and Cinderella sitting near the castle all alone!

Then on the other side of the castle near the wishing well was Snow White and her Prince. This pic is cute because a moment before vascubaguy snapped it, a man was trying to entertain his daughters and yelled into the well "Snow White!" and on cue Snow White waved and said "I am over here."

Then we decided to try and be the first ones on Tom Sawyer Island. We made it to New Orleans Square and we found out that the rafts didn't open until 10 am so we waited and were first in line to ride the raft over. We had wondered if DL did the hiding of the paintbrush thing, and after searching all over the island we decided that they didn't and we headed back to the mainland. We headed back to find more characters and we saw Belle, Mary Poppins, and Bert the chimney sweep. We heard a funny comment as Bert went by from a lady who obvioulsy knew ALOT about Disney and was trying to impress her family by saying "Look there goes Chim-Chiminey!". :rotfl:

Look! There goes Chim-Chiminey! AKA Bert the Chimney Sweep.

We then decided to go over to DCA and we were surprised by the site of a hugh blown-up Chicken Little towering over the main gate that wasn't there in the morning when we first entered the park.

We decided we had to see the fabulous Aladdin show at the Hyperion Theater in DCA at 1:00. We had a bit of time before the show so we decided to go to Paradise Pier. This is where we found Goofy in his bathing suit!

After seeing the Aladdin show we headed back to MK and ironically we found Jasmine signing autographs near the turnstiles. Pluto snuck up on her and scared her half to death!

Pluto sneaking up on Jasmine, scaring her, and then Jasmine (with Capt. Hook's help) making him beg for forgiveness.

Then we watched the Parade of Dreams again (I wanted to get some shots of the parade in the daylight). We hopped on the train in Toon Town and went to Tomorrowland. We decided to hop on the monorail and see what they were doing to the old 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. We got off the monorail at DTD and went back to the hotel to get ready for Mickey's Halloween Treat.

Our costumes for the Halloween Treat were house painters (vascubaguy's idea). So with our trusty paintbrushes and paintcans (that subbed as candy bags for Trick-or-Treating) we went to DCA.

The 22nd of October was vascubaguy's birthday and was quite a magical day itself. I had intended on making this trip report a 2-Parter, but with all the things that happened on the 22nd, I will have to make a Part 3 to come soon!

Thanks! I couldn't log off until I got to read part 2!! Great photos! And you saw some unusual characters, it seems.

So - what WERE they doing with 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea?

Well, they are actually turning it into a Finding Nemo Ride. So right now, it looks like this:
