I am actually on my way tomorrow for the HOPEFULLY final viewing for the dress. Bringing along all of my accessories to make sure I'm still in love with them. I hope I get to leave with it and don't have to send DF the day before we leave (less than a week omg).

The Flower Girls!!!:

The new Flower Girl (or junior attendant) dresses were surprisingly hard to find. Trying to find a plain, cap sleeve lace dress that wasn’t revealing (read: kinda slutty) was an absolute headache! I ended up spotting this dress from Macys online and decided to just go with it already… The two younger girls will still be in the original long sleeve number. It'll kind of separate the older girls from the younger.

I'm thinking of making belts like these but out of lace! Time permitting of course.​

I have made flower balls and headbands for the gals. No petal throwing, but I wanted them to feel special! Many hot glue burns later I got these puppies:

One crown and one fluffy flower ball!

So many flower crowns!

One on a head form.

I have hidden Mickeys on the headbands!​

I have directed the Moms to curl their hair, wear light colored flats or sandals and wear simple rhinestone jewelry.

One of our little nephews has a sensory disorder and the other has autism, so they will act as "mini ushers" and escort our Mothers down the aisles. They will be in light grey suits and will look adorable!

Hi everyone! Wow what a whirl wind. I'll have a TON of stuff to update of course. After I got picked on a couple months ago, I lost a lot of enthusiasm for this forum. But I still want to finish what I started here. Before I get into the wedding trip and actual wedding photos I'll catch you guys up on all the stuff in progress. Okay update time!

RINGS!!!

Due to the uniqueness of my engagement ring, I knew I needed something equally unique for my paired wedding band. For military/work out/crafting purposes I chose a plain, solid sterling silver ring that will probably be my daily wearing ring. I’ve always had a thing for sterling silver, it’s just been my metal. (Not pictured, it's pretty simple.)

My band, I found from an Israeli jeweler. It is an “eternity” style ring and features small domed opals all the way around the band. They seemed like they would complement the stones in my engagement ring. I’m delighted!

His band is a laser cut Titanium ring and shares a Halo (video game) pattern just like my engagement band. It’s really special to us that we can share this little bit of nerd-cred every day. From a distance it looks like a neat geometric pattern.

We also have a pair of “Lover’s Knot” rings we bought at Dragon Con, in Atlanta, GA last year. These bands are solid sterling silver and represent friendship and love. We have been wearing these bands on our right hands since we bought them and will be using them as the charms on either end of our Hand Fasting Ribbon.

Sorry for the poor cell phone shots. Here, a month later and I'm still waiting on my official photography!

I love your choice of colours for the bridesmaid dresses and bouquets. You did an amazing job on those flowers headbands.

Planning a wedding is always stressful and dealing with the price tag that accompanies it is no fun either but don't worry it will all be over soon enough and then you'll have memories that you cherish for the rest of your life.
