well lets just say I got 205 days to do somethingYaaaaay, Kathy!Wahoo I found you!!! I'm late to the party...again...but I really enjoyed reading your April PTR and currently enjoying your TR and DR's....so thought I'd pop over here to continue the fun.
I'm so glad that you're here!Trust me, booking in October for April is more ahead of the game than you think. I'd say the majority of my clients only book 1-2 months in advance.Man...I'm still new at this Disney planning stuff compared to you. Here I was all smug thinking I was so ahead of the game booking our trip for October in April and sigh....by the time I booked so many ADR's were already unavailable. Next time...I need to start even earlier and do all those countdowns like y'alls (I'm getting all Southern being around these boards lol).

They are! I'm just pretty sniffly now! But I FEEL human againi!Anyway...sorry that you got some germs...glad they are on their way out.
Oh man. This is going to be my biggest challenge yet. Me, who loves thrill rides. My Aunt, who can't handle anything more intense than It's A Small World. And my Uncle, who can do whatever.I look forward to following along with your plans to see what such an expert has in mind for some complicated planning...different people with different tastes and even some US thrown in for good measure...it all sounds amazing!
I've got ADRs down, but figuring out FP+ is going to stress me something awful!
Hooray! Thanks for following!just have to say - you go girl! you are on top of your game with all of this! I love following along!

It was, but I'm feeling better, just still fighting some congestion.Hope you are feeling much better. It's always hard when you are sick plus feel guilty about missing work too.
Heh. How I'm doing on my W.I.S.H. journey is that I really WISH that I cared more about it.How are you doing on your W.I.S.H journey? I stepped on the scale this morning andwell lets just say I got 205 days to do something
I know that sounds really awful!
But the thing is that I'm truly content with myself, my weight, and my lifestyle. So it's hard to stay motivated when I don't feel particularly compelled to work hard and change something that doesn't bother me... Especially when I'm incomprehensibly MISERABLE when I attempt to lose weight. Does that make sense?

Still really sniffly, but I actually feel okay, so I'm back to work and all is well. As soon as I can get this congestion to dry up, I'll be 100% again!

I knowwwwww, omg omg omg!WOOHOO!!! You're at the halfway mark - that's a big deal!!!So close to park hours which means you'll be able to make some headway with plans again!!!

And then just a few weeks later... ADR day!!!Thanks! Me too!So glad you're feeling better![]()

Yaaaaaaasssss!Halfway mark! Yay!
Ooh ooh, and I love the little countdown in your signature now! Cute!I knooooow! So excited! They should be posted around the same time as I'm wrapping up my April TR, so it'll be a nice transition!Halfway!! Yay! Those park hours should be here in the next week and you can really get down to planning!
The wait for park hours is almost done so soon you will be planning again like crazy.
Don't answer if you dont' want to. but would losing weight help with your chronic pain? Don't laugh.. DO. NOT. LAUGH but i bought the Dr. Phil book 20/20 so far i kinda dig it.But the thing is that I'm truly content with myself, my weight, and my lifestyle.
It feels like I've been waiting on them FOR-EH-VER...
He isn't going this trip, but he has fun counting down. Lots coming up in the next month to keep us distracted. It feels real knowing that it's really happening!
Yay!Well I am a little late to this PTR, but I am here now and all caught up. I am glad you are feeling better. It stinks to get sick after vacation, but glad it wasn't during your tripThe wait for park hours is almost done so soon you will be planning again like crazy.
So glad you're here! I'm VERY happy to be feeling better, I just wish I could kick this congestion! But like you said, I'm very grateful it happened right AFTER the vacation, not during. Can't wait for those December park hours, though!!!Yessssss! I totally understand, and I'm glad you do too! Yeah, my trip is still 7 months away... but at least it's not 14 months away anymore, and that's AMAZING!Hooray on your halfway point. We started planning this upcoming trip 11 months out and I remember when we hit 5.5 months I was celebrating too!!! Non Disney people thought I was crazy, but who cares, it's WDW and it's been far to long!!!!!
Can't wait to hear your next plans!

Oh, I can totally relate to that. I was diagnosed at 14 years old with Systemic Lupus, and it brings with it widespread Rheumatoid Arthritis. I also have Fibromyalgia. So I'm no stranger to chronic pain. That's why I use an ECV in the parks, not because of my weight. And you're right, losing weight will definitely help in some ways (like in your hips or knees, if you have trouble there). I know I should lose weight to alleviate some of the stress on my joints, too. I guess I just need to find the right motivation, too!Yes I understand what you are saying. I feel the same way most of the time, but I think I'm starting to show signs of RA and so I know if I'm getting this at 35 I saw how quick it effected my mom when she was diagnosed in her 40's with it. I need to do something to try and slow down the wear and tear on my joints. It's something new for me. I need to make it over to the w.i.s.h boards to find some support and motivation.

You and me both!So glad you are feeling better.![]()
Oh, sure it would. Like I said. I know SHOULD lose weight, for my health, and so I'll feel better. But I guess I'm just not miserable enough day to day to keep up with it. Every now and again something will happen, and I'll get a burst of motivation, but it only lasts a week or two, then I'm back to my usual happy comfortable lifestyle.Don't answer if you dont' want to. but would losing weight help with your chronic pain?
I'm not familiar with it! I assume it's a generalized self-help book type of thing?Don't laugh.. DO. NOT. LAUGH but i bought the Dr. Phil book 20/20 so far i kinda dig it.
Oh, James.and dont' forget to add CM James to the mix of the planning..
Not sure how I can PLAN for him, though! Other than just keeping my eyes peeled while I'm there! Maddening, isn't it?! JUST GIVE US THE HOURS, DISNEY!!!I am also waiting on December park hours!

I have no idea!Did you decide to go to the DisMeet at Universal Studios? I am considering it, if my sister will join me. Do you know if I'd need a Universal ticket, or is the party ticket alone enough? Is there a thread about it somewhere, lol?
I would think that just a ticket for the party would be enough, since it's an afterhours party. Let me know if you find a thread talking about it here, though! I'd love to join in!Hooray! Hi, Lynn!So I finally made it here...![]()

You mean you can't wait to read more AFTER you get back from your SUPER AWESOME TRIP THAT IS ALMOST HERE, WOOOOO!!!Whoo hoo for all the plans. And I can totally understand waiting on things!
Can't wait to read more!

I completely 110% agree, girl!Any little milestone is a plus in my book!

That's so cute that he's helping you countdown even though he's not going! Very sweet! My DH told me today, we have 30 days till we're in the double digit dance...He isn't going this trip, but he has fun counting down.

Yaaaassss! Park Hours soon, and ADRs shortly after! Can't wait!Lots coming up in the next month to keep us distracted. It feels real knowing that it's really happening!![]()

I started to feel a little something before I left Disney but it didn't turn into anything so maybe allergies. Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling better.

Hey, I get what you're saying about the weight loss. I'm not complacent, exactly, but I'm not doing a TON to work towards my goal, either. Not even easy things. I'm considering starting a 21 day challenge on Monday. I can do anything for three weeks, right?
What is the 21 day challenge?
