All I can say is I hope SOMEONE brings protection!
Yes, the sun can be quite intense in the Orlando area. Everyone should wear sunscreen every day they're outside.

Everyone has told a lie. If you say you have not, you're a liar!
Actually, these parents are extremely overprotective. They won't allow their kids to do anything without them. They actually were angry with us for letting the kids be alone in the living room to watch movies while we were upstairs cleaning out the closets. This is one of the reasons I don't worry about supervision on the trip.
So they get mad at you for letting your kids watch a movie alone, in a common area of the house, while you're home? But it's ok for them to book your daughter on an out of state trip for a week and not consider that they needed to bother asking, because they "think of her as part of their family" ... and this is ok? Really? Your initial post asked if people thought these parent's behavior was strange ... yes it is!!

MODERATORS: Can you close this thread already??? If not, at least move it. It has nothing to do with theme parks or strategies. Everyone has the right to their opinion regarding the OP's situation. Can't we just leave it at that?
I agree, kill it already.
