Is it warm enough to swim in December?

We were there Dec 16-20, 2017, very warm, almost hot! Swam to cool off in the afternoon.

We swim in any weather. Even when the lifeguards are in parkas. No air is too cold for a Minnesotan..

We were at WDW the week of Christmas several years ago. It was chilly almost the entire time we were there. We wore long sleeves and jeans most days, even had to use our winter coats, hats, and gloves the night we went to the party. Every day we were there, there were people in the pools. DD was 10 at the time and had no desire to go in the pools, I was very happy about that!

pools are heated to some degree..... it is up to what your body can stand.

We swam in January when it was spitting freezing rain. Life guards were not thrilled, but hey....it's vacation.

It definitely can be. We've bailed on parks after a few hours because it's so hot and spent a good portion of the day in the pools. Last trip we spent part of one day in the pool at AKL which was lovely and then went in the next day too but left after about 30 minutes because we were shivering. We never count on it but hope for it. Hoping for warmer weather this year as it's the first time we've been between Christmas and New Years'. We're usually there some time between the last week in November and the third week in December. All of our previous stays at the BC it's been too cold to swim after about 5 pm and we were never at the resort earlier than that so have never been able to go into Stormalong Bay. We plan to spend some time during the day this time to finally get into SAB but with our luck it will be too cold during the day too. Oh well - plan and dress for all weather.
