Instructions for Chase Visa Photos?

Hi there,

We took a trip to DL for my birthday and finally made it to both DL and DCA Chase Photo opportunities. They gave us a little piece of paper that explained how to see and download the photos. Of course we have since lost those papers and it is getting close to 30 days since our trip.

If anyone can post a photo of the instructions or PM the URL I'd be very grateful.

It's in the Star Wars Launch Bay. When I was there, it was Darth Vader, but I believe now it's Kylo Ren?

I'm pretty sure that you have to have the pictures printed onsite, the same day!

They've stopped giving the 5x7 print. Caught us by surprise last weekend during Tink. Never received anything telling us about the changes and went expecting to get a print

The CM said it had been in place a month as of last weekend, but I think it was more recent than that. We were there a month previous and there was no mention of the benefit going away. And another friend was able to get her print not long before last weekend.

It's no new benefit for us getting the downloads. We have Sig+ passes so we already got them anyways. At least we still get the special meet and greet I guess?

It's hardly even a special meet and greet in DL. Depending on your timing you could probably see Kylo Ren with less of a wait. I do think it's a nice perk in DCA even without the print, because of the character rotation and the fact that it's basically private. But adding borders and signatures and dates to the pics was a nice option, since you can only get those in the parks now. After awhile though, I do think it would be nice to have an option to get a 4x6 instead. For Visa card holders who don't have an AP with free downloads, some might consider it an upgrade to get all pics from the greet for free. Even APs who get the downloads, it's still a nice greet in DCA, and in theory with an AP they can go often and see all the characters.

I was meaning the DCA M&G when I spoke of it being somewhat of a perk still. Sorry. I should have been more specific. I mostly ignore the DL one after trying it once. I do greatly enjoy going for the DCA M&G, though.

I'm less annoyed the print perk was taken away, however, than I am that no notice was sent. I've seen some documentation online claiming this has been in the works for awhile to remove, but the card was presented to us (and in our paperwork) singing praises of this particular perk right up through the end of March when the CM claims the perk was removed. I would be less annoyed if we'd gotten some sort of notice the terms/perks changed. I know the fine print allows for things like this to be taken away, but a courtesy notice of the change would have been more customer friendly. This (plus a very generous gift card bonus) was the only reason we signed up for the card.

But I figure one could argue people like me are exactly why the perk was removed. After we reached the spend amount for the card to get the bonus, we stopped using it except for the Visa M&Gs.

I would be satisfied if borders returned to the downloads, though. I agree that was the big side benefit to having the print: access to borders.

1. Go to disneyland.com/photopass (or app) and log in w/ your account (or create an account)
2. Select "link photos" and enter 16-digit Photopass ID # on the back of the Photopass card. Or select "Photopass code" in the app
3. Download images taken at Visa meet(s).

I think you're missing my point. It's not an issue to me the perk was taken away. I see it as a customer service issue that no notice was given and recent documentation listed the perk. I have several of the prints now because it was still a perk when I was there end of March (despite claims from the CM that's when the perk was removed). Beyond that, the fine print does allow for these changes.

I've never understood either the DL M&G being credit card only when it's much more limited than the DCA for debit and credit cards.

If you already get the downloads through some other means, then it's just a specialised (at least in DCA) M&G with backdrop and better individual time without feeling the pressure of a line in view.

The downloads come with the license necessary to have them printed at a location of your choosing.

Thanks for the information, I hadn't seen it anywhere. Just checked the Visa site and it says:

At the Disneyland® Resort, stop by our private location–reserved just for Cardmembers–to meet and pose with some of your favorite Disney Characters. You’ll receive downloads of your photos, too! Just present your Disney Visa Card to enter this exclusive event, offered daily 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM inside Disney California Adventure® Park in Hollywood Land (next to Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!).

Thanks so much for the instructions!! We recently got the card so this is the first time that we've used it. I actually like being able to download it myself. I just downloaded the photos and there were more than one that I liked, so not having to choose just one photo was really nice. Plus not having to carry around a photo (and worry about it getting creased is a bonus for me).

I understand the frustration of everyone else as well. If I had been used to getting a free print out and then it just stopped, I'd be upset that they didn't make some sort of effort to alert everyone to the new system. I imagine its also a money saving item. No need to have the cast members printing out photos.

I just downloaded the photos and there were more than one that I liked, so not having to choose just one photo was really nice.

Yes I was able to download all 6 - 7 photos. I would post a couple of them here, but I can't get the image link upload to work.
