How did you make Christmas Day at Disney feel like Christmas?

We're doing a Christmas trip this year. It will be the first time we've vacationed over the holiday. DD16 and DS12 know that the trip is our gift to them. They are way more excited about another trip than getting presents christmas morning.

How did you make christmas day special? I'll bring some lights to decorate the condo and their stockings to fill with a few meaningful gifts as a surprise and maybe find a table top tree.....but what else?

We took a small table top tree--Lights, no ornaments. We each bought an ornament to remember the holiday year after year. Of course, walking down the middle of Main Street, USA on Christmas morning was special enough. Keep in mind- not only you, but every tourist and every local florida resident will be there that week. Hope you are ok with the crowds--parks often hit capacity early in the day, and have closures in affected parks. Good luck.

We had stockings for Christmas morning. We had small trees in each resort window along with some window clings. Other than the stockings, we didn't really have any special plans for Christmas day. We did meet Santa Goofy at AK and had Christmas dinner at Hoop Dee Doo which was a great way to end the day. On Christmas Eve we went to the Candlelight Processional at Epcot which was kind of a replacement for the Christmas Eve service at church.
