Hello Kitty character at Universal. Opinions?

Me too! I'm looking forward to going to the store with my daughter and picking out some cute things (and we will totally get our pic taken). We love hello kitty. When DD got her ears pierced she picked hello kitty studs.

we were there for soft opening, had hoped for more than 'just' another store but sounds as though you guys will love it.

The have all kinds in Vegas too! The city has apparently cleaned some of it up but it's crazy! I'll try to find pics...

I have pics of the naked cowboy in Times Square and unfortunately the naked cowlady too........not for a family site though ........he is wearing tiny whities........barely.......should be called extremely tight whities

Lol........well it started off that way......but he got kinda carried away when he was singing and dancing........he was funny though........

We didn't pose with him though........just took pictures as he was passing us by.........the first year we saw him it was April and a bit chilly, my 81 year old mother who had obviously never heard of him, just glanced at him and said he'll catch his death just wearing those........lol......

Ya, you should have seen all the characters on the Hollywood strip. Told my kids to keep walking fast. Poor kids were scarred by the Disney character want to be. No kitty though.

I'm with you Schumi...I miss Lucy, and I haven't even been since the store was remodeled. I will be searching a lot harder this year for my Lucy gift to me.

Each visit I would always go in the Lucy shop

Could watch the videos over and over

And always found something new to buy in there that was not lucy

We have a running joke about the card snappers! There are far fewer of them now too. I go every year at the end of Jan for a furniture market. Next Jan will be 8 years in a row. Watched some scenes for the new Bourne identity getting filmed last Jan. It was 3 am

DH would've been in 7th heaven to see bourne filming. lol u just miss the adult film awards, can imagine how thecity perks up that week. not sure if we'll make our annual pilgrimage or not this year.

have a random thought re the hello kitty/lucy windows still in place. I could be mistaken but didn't they used to have an Alfred Hitchcock window in place as tribute? would be nice to see that tradition continuted with things that are no longer there imo.

I think it is so neat that they incorporated other Universal ideas into Hello Kitty items to sell . In pcstang pic it shows Hello Kitty and Jaws tshirt and Hello Kitty and ET poster.

Rapstar take a pic with your bow when you make it. Take some pics of things you think are cool in the store.

Keisha its kind of sad to see all the old standbys fade away at Universal. I think the parks are going to continue to grow especially with the new land aquisition. It will be interesting to see if they expand Harry Potter parks or do something else. Harry Potter hotel?
