Yup, I don't know what will happen when they start scanning tickets. I figured they were skipping the scanning to get through folks faster today. I got there around 8:30 and there wasn't much of a line. I read that they ran out of FP around 9:30 am.

They opened the queue at 1:55 pm. There was quite a bunch of people "hanging around" the entrance to FP area prior to that. When they opened the queue, it was kind of a mad dash to get in. So far, it's very similiar to the Aladdin queue - you select which queue you want (Orchestra, Mezzanine, Balcony) and then it's more waiting. A CM said the door open about 15 minutes before show time. They have bottled drinks and candy vendors walking along the queue (candy is $4.25 each, cash only).

There is a standby line, but CMs are telling everyone that asks that it's already full for the day.

The show was running about 15 minutes behind schedule. One of the CMs inside said it's a 58 minute show, but the first show took an hour and 14 minutes. So there were some technical difficulties. It meant we were running behind in being seated and the second show had one delay (I think, based on one really long pause between two scenes). We got out around 4:20 pm, so our show exited and ran into the FP crowd waiting to be let into the queue area at 4:20 pm.

Overall, I was impressed with the show. I thought the performers were very good and I liked the staging. It had a very theatrical feel to the show. I'd would happily go back! I'll write-up more thoughts when I get home.

I got a Frozen FP this morning! They were being distributed across from the Marvel M&G area. They made everyone enter via the old Mad T Party area. To expedite distribution, they weren't scanning tickets this morning. The CMS had stacks of FP and they just glances at the number of tickets and then give you the FP. (So, I don't know if the FP is disconnected.)

Were you able to pick which show? Did you notice how they seem to deal with that? I'm hoping to see it Wed, but only have 1/2 a day in the park! I plan to go right away at opening to grab fp's, but think I want show #2.

Sorry, but I didn't ask for a different show (so I don't know for sure), but there were signs out saying which show time was being distributed and the CMs didn't ask/offer a different time. My guess is that this is like the F! and WOC FPs, you cannot select the time you want and if you want a later show, you have to wait until they start distributed the time you want.

You are not allowed to pick the show: passes are distributed for the first show until they are gone, then the second show...
Signs on the machines show which times are being dispensed. If the show you want is not yet being distributed when you reach the machines, go back to the end of the line and try again. The line moves very quickly.

A few notes from yesterday, the public premiere:

• During EMH, hotel guests were allowed to line up at the fastpass machines. Not very many hotels guests were waiting (less than 100), but I suspect many onsite guests were not aware. I was one of the last hotel guests to join the line, and had my pass at 8:04.
• As an experiment (and I was curious). I went back to the end of very long line at 8:08, and received a pass for the second show at 8:21 (this was possible because tickets were not being scanned).
• There was no line for passes at 8:37, with passes for the third show being distributed.

I got there around 8:40 am this morning and they were distributing FPs for the second show. There was no line and they were scanning tickets. They didn't have the time posted, so I had to ask before getting the FPs.
