Hubby and I booked a quick getaway at Boardwalk by renting points back in April. I loved the lobby!
We checked in and walked over to Epcot. It was amazing to take a peaceful stroll over right from the resort. Hubby’s first time and my first time staying so close to a park! We gnoshed on snacks and drinks at the outdoor booths. One of my favorites was the Italian margarita we grabbed while waiting for Remy.
This short trip was full of firsts! I have never ridden this ride and it was adorable! We loved the huge scale of the scenery and the little mouse cars. Felt like me were wee mice! Hope we can sit in the front row next time!
We mostly strolled along the world showcase enjoying the topiaries. Some of my favorites:
We had a reservation for a late lunch at the Coral Reef Restaurant. It’s my favorite aquarium ever! Aaron loves watching sea life. When he was stationed overseas he made a rig to video coral reef with his Go Pro so this was a huge highlight for him
We walked back to our room for a rest then returned at night for some more drinks around the world, rode the 3 Caballeros and caught Harmonious.
My husband has always hated Disney but I turned him into a believer with this trip!!! We bought some resale DVC points and are headed back to check out the Halloween decorations October 30 with a stay at SSR.
