Do you have a favorite Disney memory or moment? Share it with us! I'll start...

In 2009 I took my then 7-year-old daughter alone, just the two of us, since her college-age sister needed to stay home that year. We left home late on a Friday night (after I worked all day at the bank), and I drove all night. At 6:30 am we were checking in at Pop Century, but we were a bit too early for our room to be ready, so we headed over to Magic Kingdom extra early.

Very few people were there at that time of the morning, but there were some CMs that we were able to chat with. After a few minutes, one CM said, "Would you like to help us with something this morning?" Of course, I said that we would be happy to help--so we opened the park! Toontown was still there, so they drove us up there where we met with Mickey and about 20 other characters. We all boarded the train and rode around to the front of the park for the opening ceremony--it was truly amazing!

What a special memory!

Mine is something simple. Walking down the boardwalk after dinner, my little man grabs my hand, looks up at me, and says "Mommy, I just love you so much". Picture perfect moment!

Little moments like that are the absolute best--they last a lifetime!

In November of 2002 we did a land/sea trip. It was my DH,myself, and DD she was 9. I had read the time wrong and I thought MK opened early. We got there about 7:30 to find it said AK not MK. My DD was a little upset so I ask the CM if we could go ride the monirail. She said she had something better for us to do. We also got to open MK with Mickey and the gang. She then got to have her picture taken with all of the characters. We then got all day FPs for all of the riders. That was our first morning. What a way to start a trip.

Wow, that's an amazing experience...for an adult and a child!!!

OMG, I would just MELT! I can't wait for my DS to say "Mommy" for the first time. When he says that and "I love you" for the first time, he's getting anything he wants. Lol

Incredible! :)

Since I haven't taken DS to WDW yet, I'll share one of mine...

Every year, my high school chorus was invited to sing at MK during the Christmas season nightly show. We would set up on the risers in complete darkness. The bright stage lights would come on the moment we sang our first note. It was time! The lights came on, I opened my mouth to sing the first note and in flew a bug! So, instead of singing a note, I was violently spitting a bug out of my mouth.

Now, that's a moment I'll never forget! LOL

Hopefully when I take DS, I'll have a more sentimental memory to share. :)

Best moment for me was entering Disneyland for the first time :yay:As a youngster we were brought up on Disney and I had always wanted to go but back in the 70s air travel was unheard of for working class families. I went to DL Paris when I was in the UK but it wasn't the same, I needed to visit the original.

Second best moment was the reaction of Goofy when the CM read out the note my asd daughter had written, I had tears in my eyes, so special. Also at Disneyland.

Lastly, watching the reactions of my kids wherever we go

You have to watch that haha....they figure that out quickly!!! My little man will get so sweet...all the I love you, you're the best, let me help you, can I get you something, etc. then the other shoe drops lol. He wants something, or I'll find something of mine broken and hidden under or behind something, or I'll find a note from school in the botto, of his backpack. They know what they are doing hahaha.

Lol I'm sure. My friend says her son does that all the time when he's in trouble. :)

When we first got to see Tiana. They were about to go in, so we were going to have to wait. But as they walked in Tiana saw my daughter's dress (her dress) and had to stop and ask her about it. She was so excited and I was too! LOL!

Awww how sweet!

Back in Sept 2008, my DS was 2 months away from turning 6. He loved Mary Poppins so I took him to the 1900 Park Fare breakfast at the Grand Floridian. She came to the table talked to us, took some pictures... then after I sat back down, she leaned down and started a conversation with my DS. They were whispering and I have no idea what they were talking about. After she left, he looks at me with these big, innocent eyes and says, "Daddy..... did I just have a real grown up conversation with Mary Poppins"?

IT was one of those magical moments you only get from an innocent kid. :)

In December 2011 we went to WDW. Just my mother, son (who was 7 at the time) & I. We were having dinner at CRT & while we were waiting for our picture with Cinderella, all the other groups waiting were seated. So, we ended up being alone with her & a couple of CMs. With no other families to entertain, my son received all of Cinderella's attention. She called him her prince & asked him to dance with her. He was sure to introduce her to Spots, a stuffed leopard he had purchased at AK that day. Then a bit later when she made the rounds of the tables upstairs she continued to "flirt" with him & even said her other prince was going to get jealous.

Fast forward to the next morning & we're having breakfast at Akershus. Who should come round to our table, but Cinderella. Not only did she recognize my son, but remembered his stuffed animal's name & was sure ask about him since he wasn't with us that morning. When the princesses went on parade around the dining room, my son got in the line. As they exited the room we were in, Cinderella was near the front & my son was at the back of the line. By the time they came back into sight of our room, my son was at the front holding her hand. She escorted him back to the table & told him that she had a secret to tell him. At that point she planted a big kiss on cheek. He was blushing about a million shades of red afterwards, but his eyes were absolutely glowing with delight. Being a tough boy of 7 there was no way he was going to walk around Epcot with lipstick on his cheek all day. But, he waited until after we left the restaurant to wipe it off because he wanted to be sure he didn't hurt her feelings. For the next couple of years, my son was absolutely certain that Cinderella had a huge crush on him.

We even managed to parlay all of this into a bit of humor. The next October we went to DL. On Halloween my son got a Pirate's League makeover & chose the pirate that has a black eye. Inevitably, everyone kept asking how he got the black eye. We started replying that Prince Charming had caught him stealing a kiss from Cinderella behind the castle & hadn't been too happy about it.

Awww what a great experience!

In 2013, we went to WDW for DS' 5th birthday. Of course, we got him his birthday button (with his name written on it). During the parade, Prince Eric noticed his button and yelled out "Happy Birthday, [DS' name]!" He was so excited and couldn't believe that Prince Eric knew his name.

I had no idea the CMs interacted with the crowd during the parade. That's a cool memory for your DS. :)
