Early for a late dinner at California Grill?

If Wishes is at 9:00 and our California Grill reservation is at 9:20 or 9:30, are we allowed to go up early and have drinks and watch Wishes on the Observation Deck? (The Observation Deck is up on the same level as the restaurant, right?) If so, is there a limit as to how early we could go up?

Never been up there before, so thanks for any info you can offer!

Yes, we had 9:20pm adr for CG on xmas night 2 years ago and went up at 8:45pm and our table was ready at 9pm, so they told us we could go out to the observation are and take our time or stay at the table(music is piped in). Half of the party stayed in and the other half went out to watch. The meal itself is very leisurely, just a FYI. We have 9pm adr on 12/30 this year.
