Disney Vacation Account questions

I have read on different threads and gotten some impressions, but not clear answers. If I open a Disney Vacation Account and load my gift cards into the account, I can pay off our cruise from the account.

The left over, will then be sent to me on one gift card correct?

If I keep it open for 120 days before making any payments, I will also get $20 for every $1000 I put in there as well? Does this only apply to funds that have been there for 120 days or anything after the fund is open 120 days?

Does the extra $20 per $1000 get placed on the same gift card as the remaining balance?

We were thinking that would be a good place to keep all of our gift cards in one place and then consolidate them into one. We currently consolidate them, but there is a limit of $1000 per card.

Thanks!

After the account has been open for 120 days, any money spent will earn a $20 gift card per $1,000 spent. They can't put any more than $1000 on a gift card, and cashing out to a gift card doesn't count towards the bonus. You have to request that money; it's not automatically sent to you.

So if we have $2000 left over and request a refund, will it go back on the gift cards that we use to fund the account or will they send us two $1000 gift cards?
