This is assuming I'm able to place multiple orders with PPDG without locking up my account.

I purchased $250 in GS GCs from PPDG on Tuesday when I had some more cards come in and GCM had already sold out of Target GCs. I converted GS for eBay on the same day and tried to do another churn through eBay that night before the Bucks bonus ended. Didn't work. eBay gave me an error that wouldn't let me check out at that time, and to try again later. I googled the error code and apparently I hit some sort of limit that's intended to protect my account. I tried with a lower amount, and it still didn't work. I thought that was strange because I remember reading on here that someone said PPDG told them it was better to make multiple smaller orders than one big order.

I'm pretty sure my eBay account can purchase from PPDG, but apparently not more than once a day. My wife's account has never been able to purchase from PPDG (and I wonder if it's because it's a newish account). PPDG could work for me, but it's not ideal. If GCM doesn't restock Target GCs, their physical GS GCs might be an option.

Thanks, this is good information. I need to make a trip to my local GS to see what gift cards they have. Maybe one PPDG order for Best Buy with the rest in physical gift cards for GS.

Lain, I was the one who mentioned about putting through multiple, smaller orders because that's what a paypal rep told me. However shortly after that I posted that it was poor advice because I still had problems and when I called back again that rep told me it was because I was attempting multiple, similar orders.

Since then, I've found that one order of 4-500 per week is all I can get without getting locked out. However after what the GS gm told me yesterday, my only PPDG avenue left is BB.

I just got $1050 in Target GCs in yesterday (plus a few hundred more already in eBay), and I'm thinking about converting Target to eBay in store in case there's a Bucks bonus this week. If GCM hasn't restocked Target, my strategy will probably be a mix of digital GS or BB from PPDG and physical GS GCs from GCM.

I called my CAA travel agent, and she assured me that she knows how to make my WDTC account with Disney GCs. I'm glad I called and checked, so now I can buy the GCs feeling comfortable.

How do you do your Sears/Kmart flip? Do you buy digital Sears and then spend at Kmart on eBay or GS?

I usually buy sears or kmart cards from SVM on ebay because they have free shipping. I usually get my cards in 2-3 days because they ship from IL and I am in IN. All digital cards I've found are PPDG, so if I am bothering with them I will just get GS (if my GS okays them) or BB. I avoid Sears/Kmart digital because they have to have a managers override to use (for each card, so 5 digital cards can annoy the manager pretty badly); I've never needed a manger override with a physical card. I did go into sears with a digital sears card and use it to buy a physical sears card to use at Kmart, but I don't like to add the extra step unless I can find a 10%+ discounted digital card.

I also messaged GCM today about the Target stock. I looked at their webpage and they have Target ecards in stock. I'm hopping they will stock eBay with ecards and that is causing the delay. Here is the response:

Placed a small order of a $25 Best Buy GC with PPDG last night, testing to see if this might work as an option for spending the $900 in eBay GC's that i was saving for a possible ebucks offer next week. Was a little nervous based on other people having problems with them. The order went through without any issues, arrived within 15 minutes, and I immediately purchased a $25 Disney Gift card from BestBuy .com for in-store pickup. Went through Ebates for both the PPDG and Best Buy transactions, nothing yet from PPDG, but I did get 1% on the Best Buy purchase even though gift cards are listed as excluded. Picked up the gift card in store this morning and noticed that my store carries both eBay and Disney in $25, $50 and variable load ($5 to $500) denominations. You can't order the variable load on their website, but once I'm sure GCM isn't going to restock Target, I may try to purchase them in store. This is assuming I'm able to place multiple orders with PPDG without locking up my account.

I experimented with buying BB cards on ebay during the 3X promotion, since there were no Target cards, and I wanted to get more ebucks. I got the BB eGCs no problem, but when I tried to buy ebay cards on BB's site, the sale was cancelled. The next day, I went to a store with the BB cards and bought an ebay reloadable card. I thought I would do this, and then buy Target cards on ebay when they were back in stock.

Now looking for another source of Target cards in case GCM decides not to carry them any more. I have been getting $5 and $10 cards for some promotions at Target, but now I need a way to get larger denomination cards.

I saw that Cardpool accepts gift cards for payment; I'm guessing that they would use VISA/MC? I may try that avenue when they have Target cards back in stock, I I can find a source for those GCs.

For those of you who have been locked out of Paypal how did you get unlocked? I have called 12 times over 2 days and each time they say it's fixed but it's not. The last time they actually told me to buy my items elsewhere because they had no idea what was wrong. I have had this account for 15 years. I sell on eBay daily. I have never had an issue until I tried to buy Hotels.com gift cards.

I really don't expect GCM to sell ecards. I know it has said that for a long time, but in ebays gift card policy it says no electronic gift cards can be sold, with the exception of PPDG. I think they want to sell ecards but can't because of eBay. As far as what is happening with target cards I have no clue. Doesn't look great, but you never know what's going to happen!

I appreciate hearing other's strategies on this, at a bit of a loss at the moment. I've got $1900 in ebay ready to go in case of a promo, and I'm still hopeful all will work out! Ears crossed! But, without the GCM Target cards, not sure where to go. Would do PPDG if it would work, and coming up in a couple days it'll be a month since I was able to get it fixed and put an order thru. I tried once in between now and then and it didn't work then. But, say I could get it thru, why buy GS anymore? They don't carry and Disney cards(and don't want to cash out yet anyway). So where are you going with this, if you don't mind sharing your thoughts. And why physical GS from GCM? I was using GS to make extra ebay bucks and to not put so much thru Target.

Well, they do say 'When' these cards will be back in stock, not 'if', so that's hopeful to me. That may be reaching but, still hopeful. If planning to close down the ebay purchasing, they could have said 'if'.

They were promoting this being something coming soon and to watch for it. Not to go their website for and look for it there and buy it outside of Ebay. I think this is encouraging as well, though interested to hear why you find it encouraging.

Yeah, but they were promoting to ebay buyers to look for this perk coming soon, not telling the ebay buyers to come look at their own private store, and maybe now they are ready to roll it all out! Maybe they weren't ready to roll it out to the many, many buyers yet that go thru GCM, but were able to do those type of target ecards for Choice Hotel, as that's probably much less numbers of buyers going thru there. They might have been testing it out on smaller sales. Maybe they've just been in the process of getting it all set up to work well thru ebay and will be ready for a nice big promo Monday morning, lol! It's probably quite a process getting it all set up to work as easily as their physical card sales did.
I'm hoping they are planning on selling the Target ecards thru Ebay still, as well as selling thru their own store. Seems that could be a great business decision. Otherwise, I don't see how they just don't lose a ton of money selling thru their own store only now, all of a sudden. I certainly won't be buying thru them if I can't use my Ebay gc's to pay. Also, is this store of their's new, didn't they have a store already?

Maybe I'm reaching a lot and being super optimistic, I guess, maybe just grasping, but really I would be shocked if the sale of Target gc's thru ebay with a reputable seller was completely all done. So, I'm with @wendow in seeing the ecards there as encouraging!

I'm thinking out loud here.....but, does Target have influence over the sales on eBay GCM? Is it possible that Target has halted the supply of GCs to GCM to be sold on eBay? Maybe they realized that that is where most of the churning funnels through? I think we all pretty much agree that if someone is losing money on the churns, it's Target and not GCM, so maybe??

I too wondered about this. I would think target could have threatened not to allow GCM to sell any target gift cards if they didn't pull the cards from eBay. I think the target cards I buy at Kroger are through GCM. It certainly could be a weird coincidence but it's interesting that both eBay digital gift cards on target and target gift cards from GCM disappeared at almost the same time.

Well i've learned a valuable lesson this month. I was on vacation when my Ebay bucks became available so I planned on using them after I got home.
Well I got home and nearly immediately went to the hospital. I was there for a few weeks and... well the bucks expired. I was devastated, better to learn that lesson the first time than farther down the road I suppose.

I think I'm going to give it another week before I really start consider what my next moves are for churning with eBay on Target's website being MIA. I'm crossing my fingers this is just like the 5% deal and it'll magically reappear after 10-14 days. If there's a promo this week, I have some $$ in eBay GCs already; I'll try for Target GCs and if they're OOS then I'll give PPDG one last chance. I don't mind getting stuck with either Target or eBay since I can always find something to buy at either one.
